Merlin - Series 5 - Casting News

Stephen McCole's Spotlight CV reveals that his character is called Ragnor and he will be in an episode directed by Justin Molotnikov who directed three episodes last year; The Secret Sharer, Lamia and Lancelot du Lac. I can't find any reference to the name in the legends, but the name itself is a variant of Ragnar which is old Norse for "judgment warrior" which makes me think he will be involved with the Saxon army rumoured to be in the opening two episodes.
