I feel like this episode did a lot of setting up for next week, which looks way better. I mean I am kinda sad I guess that Altlinc died but at least it's apparent Linc and Altlivia will get together or something. Either way next week, you look better.
I felt the same, this episode was sort of a filler episode to me, to set up next week's, even from the promo, I wasn't that excited about this week's episode. But next week's episode look amazing.
Am I the only one that thinks that Altlinc isn't really dead? Might just be my wishful thinking that he faked his death to go recon on who the mole is?
Yeah I'm skeptical about him being "dead" because when on earth do people die and we don't see it happen. To just mention in passing 'Btw, he died' is fishy. There's something bigger going on that might be revealed next week.
What? Am I stupid or does the Machine look like in Season 3 again? I mean, wasn't it supposed to look different (like in 4.01)? Or is my mind making up something on its own? *grin*
Alt Lee funeral definitively going to need some tissue, Fauxlivia look amazing in full uniform! I certain now after this that Alt Broyles is not a shapeshifter, as otherwise why is not just taking orders?? I think DRJ might be blackmailing or kidnapped someone Alt Broyles love to get him to work for him. I can't see him working for DRJ voluntary if he did not know the big plan
All we know is that Broyles is working with Jones. But it is not clear if he been replaced with a shapeshifter or working with Jones. I think he working with Jones, as he seem to be questing orders in the promo, I don't think he would be questing the orders/plan if he was a shapeshifter. I think DRJ might be blackmailing or kidnapped someone Alt Broyles love to get him to work for him. I can't see him working for DRJ voluntary if he did not know the big plan.
Did anyone besides me have an audio problem last night while watching Fringe? This is a common problem and i don't know if others are experiencing the same thing, and its only with Fox??
I am curious why we are coming back to the machine...In the latest comic, which takes place in the future of an alternate universe it is revealed that the Machines can produce "strange" (or exotic) matter...They find it's properties can help speed up transportive machines, which starts eating away matter, and is used to fuel a space ship so they can find another planet to gain resources and find a place to live (there are also tons of clone-Olivias and clone David Robert Jones---who are imprisoned below deck to work the ship, all because the original Jones did something "bad"...
In the Day We Died the 2026 timeline's version of blue Broyles was odd-eyed (due to loosing one) -It may be forshadowing that in our season 4 time line he may be a shape shifter as this is the MO for the new ones...
Additionally "Do Shapeshifter's Dream of Electric Sheep?" and really the whole plot with Newton suggest shapeshifters desire to be human...that the man featured in the episode wanted a family and an identity, and Newton's rivalry with red Olivia also shows a need to rival....It proves that like humans, we are not all in the same boat with our political and/or personal beliefs and that we don't always agree. In other words, we should not think of shapeshifters as non-people, but rather advanced (in some ways) people...
My local Fox station cut off half the promo so im finally getting to watch it. I can't believe i waited this long. It looks like it it's going to be another great one. can't wait.
This promo would have been awesome if it were, say, 45 mins long. :-)
So is our universe (sorry, I have never gotten the Red and Blue universes straight in my mind) completely resetting itself? Or attempting to? I'm really starting to wonder if the reset applies to more than just Walter, Astrid, and Olivia. It appears as if this ep will involve another event that happened during the first timeline that wants to happen but can't because certain elements of the timeline are simply not the same.
Seriously, this show has taken over primary DVR viewing position...a position held by Supernatural for 3.5 seasons.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Oh, this is going to get good.
ReplyDeleteCorrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't this is the first time we've seen the "boom boom machine" all season?
ReplyDeleteits getting REAL GOOD!!! CAN'T WAIT
ReplyDeleteyour wrong, we have seen it, we have seen it a lot we saw it in the first season of the epi and more thoughout multiple times.
ReplyDeleteI feel like this episode did a lot of setting up for next week, which looks way better. I mean I am kinda sad I guess that Altlinc died but at least it's apparent Linc and Altlivia will get together or something. Either way next week, you look better.

ReplyDeletePeter's baby's back.
ReplyDeletewhat?
ReplyDeleteHere we go again!
ReplyDeleteOk I like Feaux again.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to see Desmond, but alas, they save the best pieces for the episode itself.
ReplyDeleteDesmond isn't in this episode. He's in 4.19, Letters of Transit.
ReplyDeleteWow this and the next episode are going to be HUGE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really do like our Linc over there :D

ReplyDelete"Things are gonna get much worse.... " O_o
ReplyDeleteOH dear... that sound sooo not good.!
*Hides under table*
♥
That's exactly what I think. Definitely too fishy. I mean Altlinc is a major character, for his passing to be not seen; that is too suspicious.
ReplyDeleteNo, we've seen it a couple of times in the earlier episodes this season. I know that in 4x01 for sure
ReplyDeleteGod! This show just keeps getting better and better, it is truly rivaling my love for Lost at this point.
ReplyDeleteOh damn we see Lincoln's funeral? CRYING ALREADY! (Alt!Liv looks great in her uniform though)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the shit is going down, no doubt to leave us on a cliffhanger when we have to wait till after the mindfuck episode. I love this show.
Correct me if am wrong....but isn't Altbroyles a shapeshifter??
ReplyDeleteHe's working with Jones, but i don't thinnk he is a shapeshifter

ReplyDeleteisnt the one from 4.01 the other side machine? i guess he has to come to this side and do something on ours machine
ReplyDeleteHa,you do have a way with words! :)
ReplyDeleteDid anyone besides me have an audio problem last night while watching Fringe? This is a common problem and i don't know if others are experiencing the same thing, and its only with Fox??
ReplyDeleteOh, alright. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI think it's just the base where the feet go compared to the top where the arms go. Check the photos, it's the same.
ReplyDeleteI tend to respond with my first reaction which is usually crying or some form of swearing haha
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you :) I've been a little confused and now that I checked I agree with you!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's how it should be,first reaction is always preferable, sometimes thinking about it first waters down ones gut reaction....don't stop,ha!
ReplyDeleteI don't think AltLinc is dead, either. I think he went undercover or something to find the mole.
ReplyDeleteThat's where he belongs :)
ReplyDeleteNope. I watched the recorded version and it was fine.
ReplyDeleteHmm,i do remember you saying you were going to chruch....time to call Time/Warner thanks for getting back to me. :)
ReplyDeleteAltivia is going to kick some shifterbroyle's ass so good (Does anyone in this show needs a prefix now?)
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome - both universes involved, battle of the red-heads and more Jones!
ReplyDeleteI am curious why we are coming back to the machine...In the latest comic, which takes place in the future of an alternate universe it is revealed that the Machines can produce "strange" (or exotic) matter...They find it's properties can help speed up transportive machines, which starts eating away matter, and is used to fuel a space ship so they can find another planet to gain resources and find a place to live (there are also tons of clone-Olivias and clone David Robert Jones---who are imprisoned below deck to work the ship, all because the original Jones did something "bad"...
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great plot!
ReplyDeleteWow cool promo next week episode looks great i wonder how long it will take the Fringe team to catch on Mr. Jones plan
ReplyDeleteWhy, worse?
ReplyDeleteHe's "in the right place."
ReplyDeleteAlthough this could totally be the case...

Oh dear. . . o.o this is going to get very, very bad though it'll be great to watch.
ReplyDeleteI've looked at this promo at least ten times,i believe it is the Machine from S3..
ReplyDeleteMy local Fox station cut off half the promo so im finally getting to watch it. I can't believe i waited this long. It looks like it it's going to be another great one. can't wait.
