    Season 1 was only 6 episodes long, so I definitely vote for 2. They found the farm (oh, and Sophia), Andrea shot Daryl, Glenn fell in love, Lori discovered she's pregnant, barneggedon, bye bye Dale, bye bye Shane, bye bye farm. Lots happened.

    Voted for Season 2, but more particularly the 2nd half of Season 2 which was the best block of episodes of the show thus far.  Although Season 1 did have the incredible premiere, which is definitely in the Top 3 of the best episodes it has so far, if not the best.

    Season 2 was head and shoulders better than season 1. 
    The first handful of episodes in Season 2 were some of the best of the series. I do think it got bogged down a bit in the middle of its run, but the quality and production value was just superior to Season 1.

    I voted Season 2.  I was getting very very impatient with the farm and the search for Sophia.  But Barnageddon was my favourite moment from the season, so I have to admit that it would not have been half as effective without the careful slow-burning first half of the season.  It really all came together at that moment and I think it might even be my favourite TV moment ever.  And then the season just basically remained awesome right up until the finale.  Cannot wait til October!

    Season 1 is boring to me now compared to season 2. Like, I almost can't even watch my season 1 DVD now lol. So, yeah, season 2 is far better.

    Season 1 (and the first half of season 2). Finding Sofia got a little boring and the whole Shane thing was dragged out to long as well. I liked most of the characters better in the first season.

    Neither season was really that great. About half of each season was a bunch of morons whining. Sometimes we'd be lucky to see one zombie an episode! The survivors all deserve to die for one simple reason: they don't seem to realize that constantly shouting attracts zombies, no matter how many times it happens.

    I guess I'd have to go with season 2, if only for the spectacular character arc for Shane.

    Besides a very slow start, unneeded plot lines, and strange obscure character development...season 2. It is longer, has more story than season and was well done minus the few screw ups.

    I cannot decide. I think both seasons are great. I like season 1 because I love the element of horror throughout the season and also the best pilot ever. Season 2 is amazing because I like the drama happening in the group and the zombie-killing in the finale!

    cant decide. really liked both of them. Season 1 was awesome caused by the "Surprise-Factor". Season 2 was more or less a long time character drama. same show, same zombies, but still very interesting to watch. great job, guys.
