Torchwood - Starz CEO Chris Albrecht talks about another series

TorchwoodA new series of Torchwood is still a possibility, according to Starz CEO Chris Albrecht. However, Albrecht told Multichannel News that it would be "a while" before any new episodes materialised. "You know, Russell [T Davies] is so busy," he said. "Obviously, we're in touch with the BBC all the time. They are our partners on [new shows] DaVinci's Demons and Harem.

ReplyDeleteThey need to re-britishise it. They started pandering to the Americans, most of whom preferred it when it was a purely british drama.
ReplyDeletetruly doubt we will see new episodes of Torchwood on Starz. Barrowman is on a pilot here and it looks good to be picked up as a series.

ReplyDeleteI'm from the UK and I loved Miracle Day, it gave a lot of backstory and had that awesome twist. The writers of Doctor Who (especially the Matt Smith saga) and Torchwood have really improved.
