    well done. When the best friend showed up, I started to roll my eyes, thinking that they might keep her on as a sidekick type character, but am glad with the way that that she was handled and was pleased that Micheal isn't completely helpless and even though he doesn't have the skills of his mother, he seems to have good instincts. Curious how this can carry beyond the first season, but will be enjoying the ride until then...

    Mary!  Thank you for not giving us a simpering pawn character.  Mary didn't waste any time.  She got out of the middle of the situation.  Happy they didn't take the cliched way out.  Glad she returned home tho...

    I knew when the guy made the call that the blonde was going to be the assassin's target.

     that's what i think.. i also think the girl is Micheal's step sister. (thank god he stopped that kiss, eh?) That Paul had a double life, beyond just being a double spy, he had another family.
    They took his daughter first and when that didn't work, took his son... too bad they underestimated Becca !

    yep. and in trying to come up with a why to explain how Becca is not quite expendable (she's a bother yes.. and they would kill her if necessary) but I think a plan may be forming to use her to find Paul..   imagine she gets to Michael and they step out and say, Paul lied to you, everyone.. he had another family AND he's still alive.. you wanna help us find this asshole? do it and you and Michael are safe..   Imagine how pissed Becca would be!  nothing quite like a woman scorned.. if a woman protecting her child is fierce, a woman scorned is ruthless.

    Works for me.   Though her son would continue to come first in all cases.  But, the scenario you describe would be a "wonderful bonus" kind of situation.  In a  'I get my son back and I get to take out the guy who scorned me in the process.' kind of way.

    i like it as a way to keep her in the game.. to go past one season and not have to suspend believe that THIS woman hasn't found her son yet..
