  1. I'm not sure if they mean the pilot is in it's first draft stage or finished, there seems a long wait for production

  2. I'm all for this remake. The original went downhill in season 2, and after Nathan left the show there really wasn't any reason for me to watch anymore.

  3. are you fucking kidding me

  4.  wasn't overly impressed with the original, not sure I'd bother with a remake.

  5. Do we really one?

  6. For me it depends on the network, I haven't heard who they are touting it to yet :(

  7. I'm happy since Howard Overman was part this. I'm kind of excited to see the American interpretation of Misfits. I hope it goes to a decent network.

  8. I don't really see the problem with remaking it.  Misfits is on three months of the years.  If there's two, well, then I have something to watch the other nine months of the year.  So I'm not complaining.  And it's Josh Schwartz so I trust him.

  9. So it could be in contention for midseason, right?
Anyone know what network it's for?

  10. None.  They're shopping around right now, I guess.  I've heard The CW isn't interested, though.

  11. I'll probably end up watching it, but I don't think the remake would capture what makes Misfits what it is.
That being said, I'll wait and see before making any decision.

  12. Thanks!
Weird the CW isn't interested. It sounds like something that could catch on there.

  13. I kind of disagree with that. I mean, if they wanna stay true to the original show - meaning they won't be too shy on language and such - then it's not at all CW. I mean, you're probably partly right, the main idea is something CW would probably air, but the thing that's most interesting about that show ... not so much CW style. ^^ At least imo.

  14. Agreed. I felt like there was a real missed opportunity with this show. The first season was amazing, the second pretty good, and then it just fell apart. That being said, I'm not sure the remake will be quite what Misfits was in the beginning. I have a feeling that it will be very American and it will lose some of its charm.

Also one of the reasons I like it is because everyone's from the UK and they have cool accents :D

  15. haha, Americans never learn. one of the points of Misfits is that it's completely politically incorrect. they'd never air half of what came out of Nathan's mouth. it's gonna flop just like US Skins (which had exactly the same problem).
