Luther - Creator Neil Cross "plans to end show, make film"

LutherLuther creator Neil Cross has revealed that he is planning a film spinoff.
The writer told BBC Radio 4's Front Row that he intends to make the movie once the BBC crime drama has ended.
"We'll wrap up Luther as a TV show, but I think we'll then probably make the leap to the big screen," he said.

its great Luther will be coming to the big screen....I'm so looking forward to it... but come on NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....they cant end the show... what the freak.....

ReplyDeleteToo often networks keep shows on longer, much longer then they should be and the product ends up a pale comparison of what it originally was. Luther is so top quality that I would hate to see that happen. A season ro two more and a movie sounds PERFECT to me.
Just nice to have a showrunner with some artistic credibility.
last season was a huge nosedive downwards for me. So: Good news.
