Game of ThronesSeason one of fantasy mega-hit Game Of Thrones hits DVD and Blu-ray this Monday March 5, and since we're huge fans we leapt at the chance to talk to some of the cast this week. Nicolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) chatted about which actors have the easiest time of it during filming, which characters they think will survive the series, and how long they personally would last on Westeros. I laughed at Emilia's picks to make it to the end.... I will not be taking betting advice from her any time soon! XD NCW on the other hand seems to be more familiar with the books or has better intuition...
ReplyDeletePretty funny that none of them think they'd survive very long. I mean to die within hours you'd have to actively try to piss off the wrong people I would think.... I would think any of the three could live fairly well off their looks if need be....
Spoilers, save casting info, for this series seem so pointless. The first season followed the book to the letter. The next several seasons are already spelled out.
ReplyDeleteI think Jon Snow stands a chance--not based on her rationale--but he's the only *good* guy still in the running. We can't be stuck with only *bad* guys, redeemed or not, fighting to rule the world!
Nice interview, just goes to show that good questions make good answers.
