Fox has renewed the long-running hit for an eighth season, the network announced on Thursday.

    No surprises there, most, if not all, of their rookie dramas are pretty much a bust and they've lost House this year.

    That's to be expected. They've been on the air for 7 seasons at this point, I'm pretty sure the decision to end the series is up to the creative staff at this point.

    Wow, that's surprising. Anyway, now renew Raising Hope and Fringe. I'm not fooling myself in expecting a third season for Breaking In, but please, new seasons of Raising Hope and Fringe isn't too much to ask.

    For a while this season, when asking myself "what is the best sitcom I watch ?", it always came down to Community or Parks and Recreation. Now, as weeks go by, it feels more and more like a three-way fight : Community or Parks and Rec or Raising Hope. The latter really is on fire, delivering absolutely amazing comedy every week. I just watched last Tuesday's episode and this show cannot stop now, it would be a crime to cancel it, it's better than ever (and it's always been good). Maw Maw, Burt... they're just too good.

     The reason they got another season is because Bones is Fox's highest rated one hour drama,if it wasn't it's renewal would have been doubtful...

    With the sharp ratings decline of their other dramas, this quick decision doesn't surprise me at all.  FOX needs more Bones at the moment.

     Not necessarily.  FOX will want to see their finished pilots before they make a final decision on most of their other scripted shows.

    i never had doubt they will cancel BONES they were all confident and the show its in good shape despite the many years its on . Congrats we need more BONES . FOX how about you renew another show you know the one who start with F ?
