Bones - Hart Hanson Interview about season 8 and The Finder
29 Mar 2012
Bones Cancelled Shows
It's a good day to be Hart Hanson. Not only did FOX announce earlier today that his series "Bones" was picked up for an eighth season but after a hiatus of being off the air (due to shooting around star Emily Deschanel's real-life pregnancy late last year), the series returns to the air with new episodes next week in its new Monday, 8:00/7:00c time slot. In the midst of a busy day of congratulations and chatting with the press, our Jim Halterman grabbed some time to talk about the details of getting the renewal, the prognosis on Hanson's "Bones" spin-off, "The Finder," and how "Baby Bones" will alter - or not alter - the popular murder series.

So excited about Bones!
ReplyDeleteSince I loyally watch both shows, it pains me to say that if it comes down two FOX deciding whether to renew Alcatraz or The Finder, I would prefer that they renew The Finder. That show is so much fun. Alas, I think FOX will cancel both.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping The Finder gets a renewal as TN got axed and Alcatraz is doing poor whereas Finder has actually gained numbers from the premiere and is much more stable.
ReplyDeleteIf The Finder's numbers on Fridays can equal or stay above Alcatraz' numbers (which shouldn't be too difficult) the show MAY have a case for renewal.
ReplyDeleteIts nice that a few people here like The Finder,i love it and i would also be disappointed if it gets canceled. Its a little quirky in a way it reminds me of a Northern Exposure type.....The Finder is just so different then Fringe that i don't know how either show could possibly help each other? I hope it works,but.......
