ABC’s Beauty and the Beast has cast Irish actress Ruth Bradley as its titular beauty, TVLine has learned exclusively.

A relative newcomer to U.S. television, Bradley’s small-screen credits include RTÉ-Ireland’s Love/Hate, ITV’s Primeval and BBC One’s Innocent. She next can be seen playing “Mary Maloney” in the ABC miniseries Titanic, which will air over four hours on April 14 and 15.

    I don't know. I think I kinda prefer the CW version.

    Also, can't wait for ABC's Titanic mini-series.

    Neither of the "beasts" are remotely unattractive, is hollywood afraid to cast less than perfect people because they think the public think they don't exist unless they are bad guys?

    She's really good on Primeval, actually one of the best things in S4&5. So yay for talented actress getting the role!
