  1. I'm excited for Monday!

I think we may encounter a guy person to the 63s mystery. I've always felt that the 63s themselves may know something, but the "man behind the curtain" will not be a 63. He may be from the 60s era (or a future era), but he will not be one of the documented inmates and staff at Alcatraz.

With no information to suggest it, my blind guess is that the character played by Frank Whaley will have some insight to the overarching mystery. Not sure why I think that, but as soon as I saw him in promo photo I just suspected he would either be involved in the disappearances or know something relating to it.

I'm probably off and he is some mundane guest star that was not in the press release because his character was not important enough even! XD

  3. I know right?

His one 7-second appearance in the aired pilot (version 4) is all that is left of the previous much more important role in the original pilot (version 1). Going from playing the lead heroine's fiance to basically being a featured extra in the pilot has to be even worse for Santiago!

I keep hoping the original Comic-Con pilot, or the first rewrite/ reshot cut prior to the actual aired pilot will turn up online... No luck yet sadly. Maybe they will include it on the BD and DVD sets?

  5. I don't know exactly how this is going to relate to "Felicity", but since the title-name references the last name of two characters (Felicity Porter and Zoe Webb), I can't imagine it won't relate to them at all....especially since when Felicity time travels back in "Felicity Interrupted", she ends up meeting another version of Zoe in a psyche-ward.

But both Zoe and Felicity's fathers share a role in which they don't approve of their daughter's initial love interest, Mr. Porter disproves of Ben and Mr. Webb disproves of Noel. Noel and Webb (of Webb Graphics) thematically add onto Felicity's dilemma of being an artist or doctor (being with Noel or Ben).

Bad Robot has this thing about people who become scientist or doctors who wish they were artists/musicians...Part of Felicity's story was about exploring her artistic interests, as opposed to doing what her dad wanted her to do, follow in his foot steps and become a doctor. We see something similar with Daniel Faraday in LOST too, although his future is more forced upon him by his mother than Felicity's father. Even in Fringe we get wind from a few of the comics that Olivia would/could have been a great artist as opposed to a science investigating Fringe agent...

  6. I am hoping that Rebecca's personal life has been put on the back burner as a slow build to the finale...If that's the case, I hope SC will make more of an appearance, but I am also not going lie and say that she and Jack Sylvane don't have good chemistry and that the idea of a time traveling "labeled" criminal and a modern female cop as love interests, doesn't also intrigue me.

  7. I think Jack and Rebecca are one of the things people are more interested in. Specially because Jack has been the most interesting inmate so far. Personally, I'm glad they made Rebecca single, this way they can make more use of her, specially on the romance front (which we can't deny is something that really attracts viewers).
