2012 Emmys - Jimmy Kimmel to host

Jimmy Kimmel is jumping from late night to primetime.

The comedian and host of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live will host the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, set for September 23rd at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. He takes over the spot from Jane Lynch, who hosted last year.

    I'm so glad its not Jane Lynch again,i thought she was dreadful..Kimmel should be good but so far my favorite was Jimmy Fallon,he breathed new life and excitement to the Emmy's...

    He's fantastic! Late-night hosts are always amazing hosts (except for Leno...) - Conan, Fallon, and now Kimmel.

    Jimmy Kimmel is pretty awesome, I loved his Movie: The Movie fake trailer that aired the night of the Oscars, way funnier than anything they showed at the event

    I'm indiferent. Granted I do find him funny in small doses, but I don't really know how he'll fare in this.
    However I have no strong feelings either way.
