According to IMDb, Marvin Duerkholz who's probably best known for his role as Cody on MTV's Teen Wolf, is set to appear in The Walking Dead's season 3 premiere episode as Phillip Eagle.
There has been no character with that name in the comics. There's only be a Philip Blake who's better known as The Governor. But it's pretty safe to assume Duerkholz has not been cast as this iconic villain.

    I'm not actually sure they do. They should be just getting back in the writing room according to a recent interview with Kirkman. I actually doubt a lot that this is accurate...

    They already started writing like two weeks ago according to Kirkman's twitter. Also, according to WalkingDeadBr.com, they're already planning on building props and setting up locations starting NEXT WEEK, so I wouldn't say it's a stretch to assume that they've already cast a few people.
