    think his first love was elena ancestor klause then fell in love with her,there mother use her blood to tranform them on vampires for share control,elijah is more romantic he realy love the person who creates the dobleganger bloodline elena falling in love with him no way but is a interesting love triangle .

    Why does everyone loves Elena, really?? :S  
    For me, Elijah loved Tatia and then loved Katherine and... Elena? because they resemble Tatia. If you lost your loved one and then someone exactly alike appears, I guess its quite normal to feel at least drawn to her. Thank God, they didn't make Klaus fall in love with Elena... he seems the only one who can escape the "lets-love-the-doppleganger-curse" (By now and hopes that forever)

    Great thing. Much better than this ridiculous Damon/Elena thing that's turned Damon into a useless lapdog and Elena into a girl not to trust (doing both brothers? really?). She only makes sense with Stefan but if not, I'd MUCH rather see her with Elijah than Damon. And Daniel Gillies is terrific.

    I kind of knew that already. You could see it when Elena undaggered him last season, he was all too willing to help her out when really he could have just left town. Also in the preview for next week you see Elena (maybe) and Elijah clink glasses and there's a definite look in his eyes. He fell for Tatia, Katherine (before she was a vampire and was a nice girl lol) and now Elena. He also said the original doppelganger was exquisite. So really the only guy who loved Elena for who she is and not who her doppelgangers are is Matt Donovan. Good call Klaus!

    I don't thinkKlaus really cared for the original doppelganger, I think he just didn't want to see Elijah happier than him so he inserted himself into the situation (otherwise why even pursue the whole hybrid thing when he could have just compelled Katherine into acting like his long lost love and/or turned her into a vampire so they could be together always). Elijah was the one who found a way to keep Katherine from dying when Klaus was ready to do the spell. We all know Klaus is just a spoiled brat (probably why he is attracted to Caroline). That's my theory.

    Everyone MUST love Elena on the show because so few viewers actually do, so they over compensate. It's just something about Elena that makes want to slap the crap out of her. However, I love Katherine. So kudos to Nina for being able to play to characters that are polar opposites and making me hate "the good" one.

    Elijah and Katherine make a lot of sense, but what are the chances that they will develop a romance (flirtation?) for two guest stars?

    Yes, it's getting old that every guys falls for Elena. But imo, Elijah and Elena 
    actually have a better foundation for a relationship than she has with the Salvatores. Nonetheless, Elejah's not going to happen because this show HAS to be about the triangle of doom. 

    At this point I'd rather see Elena/Matt than her with any of the brothers despite the fact that I think they have negative chemistry! Elena also have creeeeepy chemistry with Alaric and Matt Davis' been pulling for a romance between them too, lol. Why was that not posted as a spoiler?

    Why post this as a spoiler when it's just DG's pov of his character. Also, this article is just an excerption from an older article which was already posted to SpoilerTV in its entirety...

     I agree. I miss the "old" Damon, you know that guy who used to kill people and messing up Stefan. I prefer one billion times seeing Elijah/Elena happening than Delena or Klaroline! Elijah loved Tatia, Katherine (who betrayed him), he's a more noble man than Damon is.

    That's a misleading title.  It's Gillies' personal opinion that his character has feelings for Elena.  That's a lot different from what the title indicates.

    Don´t see anything happening on that front. I think Elijah is a bit of a bore actually (maybe he would fit with Elena?!!)   I much prefer to hear more about Klaus´s interest in Caroline. This show is so much more fun with Klaus around. I hope he is not one of the characters who is gonna die this season.

    Well, as I said I think it would be normal to feel drawn to someone who is  a dead ringer for the one you loved and lost, but at the same time it has to be easy too to see the differences between them. They are, after all, different persons. It has sense that Klaus tried to woo Tatia to bother Elijah, but that's considering that Klaus in the same person that he was when human. However In the flashback we have seen, he was a scared boy whose his own father showed him hatred... not so much the spoiled brat that he is now, so I don't think he was unable to love then (To Tatia, in this case) and I don't think he is now. About compelling Katherine to behave like Tatia, I think he doesn't like to oblige nobody to love him... He didn't say to Stephan: Behave like the friend you were, he has as a companion a very complaining Stefan (His fault, I know, for kidnapping him). We are gonna see some humanity in him now with Caroline...

    I think it's the exact opposite actually. Klaus probably loved Tatia so much, that he has no feelings for Katherine of Elena, because no how matter how much they look like her, they aren't her. TBH, I don’t think Elijah falling in love with Elena, a human girl he spent one day with, is pretty ridiculous.

    Is this really a shock??????? I like this, it makes sense with Elijah's character. He is tragic figure who was scorned by love twice. Elena represents the innocence he lost in himself and the girl he loved. He likes the way she acts. This is a great idea, THEY WILL NOT END UP TOGETHER!! He will love her from a distance and perhaps die saving her, but thats it. I just like the layer to the character. Give it a shot guys! Daniel Gillies ripped my heart out in 2.19 in all his scenes with Nina Dobrev. We already knew they won't be together, so why not let it be a nice part of Elijah.

    I swear, at some point they're just going to have to make it cannon that there's some kind of love curse on the doppleganger. Nina Dobrev is a beautiful women, but it gets ridiculous.

    Luckily Daniel Gillies interpretation is not necessarily the intent of the writers. See: Everything Ian Somerhalder has ever said about Damon, and the opposite direction of the writers.

    She isn't all goo goo eyes over Klaus... yet. I don't think she will in a long time (or ever, who knows). I have to say that I liked Tyler better over Matt (to be with Caroline, I mean) in the season 2, but now I am intrigued about this issue with Caroline and Klaus, with not motive at all other than their chemistry and the possibilities it brings. I hope with it Caroline steps in the main plot, she is always in the dark with secondary plots.  Its fun to discuss it with someone with an opinion so different from mine :)

That'd make for a funny scene *g*

    I'll agree with Issy18  on this. From the looks at the dinner when they talked about Tatia, it seemed pretty much like Klaus really loved her. And even though he killed their mother, we know that all those centuries ago before they became vampires and before Klaus had to start dealing with the fact that he might be the only one of his kind on earth ever, Klaus was different. I don't think he never cared about or loved anyone in his life. And in his own twisted way, I think he still does love (parts of) his family.

    How on earth does it not make any sense? The article says Elijah has feelings - I would not call that being in love quite yet, but I suppose that's up for interpretation) - for Elena. Hasn't that been pretty obvious in the way he respects and listens to her? The way he looks at her? It's not like the article says Elijah and Elena are totally in love with each other.
