    Elena. Nina can stay as Katherine as far as I'm concerned. Also, Tyler, but not because I dislike him, but for the Caroline drama. I want her to go all avenger on everyone's butt.

    The only character I want dead is Esther..
    Other than that there are some characters that I simply can do without,like Bonnie for example.I don't want her dead,it's just that if she died,I wouldn't be devastated.Same goes for Katherine.
    And then there are the characters that I don't want to see dead mostly for the sake of others,like Carol Lockwood or Meredith Fell(who could still become an interesting character).

    I can't believe that someone wants Bonnie dead! Are you insane? Bonnie is the one who saves them..and she's going to save Elena(althouh she doesn't deserve it) in the next episode according to the promo.

    I don't want Tyler to die, he's become much more important than 2 seasons ago. I want Matt, Alaric and Klaus dead. Joseph Morgan is a great actor, but I'm getting bored of Klaus. I prefer Elijah and Rebekah.

    It's not that there's anything wrong with Bonnie, she just manages to irk me all the time. She's so inconsistent. I don't like that. Jeremy is just too much of a typical overdramatic teenager, he's infuriating.

    Tyler, like Bonnie, is such an inconsistent character. He flip flops all over the place, one day he's YAY KLAUS! Then he hates him and it's just a mess.

    Matt, Tyler (at the moment), and maybe even Bonnie - I've never liked her THAT much, and she seems to be losing screen time pretty rapidly.. though she's not in the same league as Matt as far as useless characters go.

    Bonnie. She's so annoying - like all of the witches on Vampire Diaries. Esther being an exception. Not because I think she's not as annoying as the other witches, but because her story and her character seem more interesting.

    Also, I felt like voting for Abby Bennett. I didn't, though, because I don't really care for her yet so it seemed weird to vote for her.

    Caroline, Matt, Tyler, Elijah, Meredith and Finn. 
    Damon and Katherine are my favorite characters of the whole lot, so no offing there. 
    Then there's Elena, Stefan and Bonnie who really get on my nerves sometimes, but I can go with it 'cause without them, there won't be Vampire Diaries. 
    Esther has lots of potential; her storyline could take any direction and I kinda like her, with her being sneaky and all. Klaus, Rebekah and Kol are amazing and I just love them to shreds. 
    Alaric needs to stay because as Elena said she can't afford to lose any family again. Killing off the Sheriff would be unwise, as with Carol (two mayors dead in just over a year? That would be bordering on insanity.) 
    I don't care about what happens to Abby Bennett, as long as she doesn't become a permanent fixture on the show.

    I ship Damon/death. Unfortunately, that's not a likely OTP so I guess, I'll pick the deadweight.

    Alaric - does he do anything but drink a lot and be Damon's enabler?
    Bonnie - the writers clearly don't give a damn about writing for her unless they have written themselves into a corner and need a "magical" solution
    Jeremy - what a useless character. Anna was more useful than he ever was
    Matt - boring character played by a terrible actor

    Abby's a guest star, lousy parent and black witch. Her days are already numbered.

    I now know that a lot of people here aren't watching the show for all the major characters, just one or two? I don't know how anyone could want a main character killed (Elena, Stefan, Damon). Thank God they're not running the show.

    I don't think so. Fanfic writing may work for you, but killing a main character is bad in my opinion. The show is about a love triangle, basically. Take out Elena and that is gone. Plus, Stefan and Damon would both be heartbroken. That's not very nice. :(

    I don't really have any hate about anything. I do have investment in Stefan, Elena, Damon, Caroline, and Alaric. I do kinda like Elijah, just something about him. Klaus is a character I want dead one minute, not dead the next lol. Depends if he's playing nice or not.

    Bonnie needs to go.  I've always thought she was annoying, but the reason I want her gone is that I've never liked the witches aspect of the show.  They seem too powerful, like they can just walk in and solve anyone's problems.  At least in my opinion.  :)

    wow! Why did they vote for damon or kol and Elijah? they are amazing!!!I mean Sheriff Forbes has less than Damon?! Wtf she is such a useless person!everytime she has her moments where she is little bit interesting it is just because of Damon lol and Kol hadn´t as many screentime as the others but he was already fantastic and I think he looks a little bit like Elijah but younger and he is so funny and does whatever he wants so interesting he has a potential to be a real villian so hot :D

    Easily Elena.

    She is the classic mary sue, exhibiting all the symptoms of a mary sue. She is as annoying as let's say Bella Swan of Twilight and majority of her plots are about being lovesick over someone. 

    She has no character she never EVER developed past the basic concept framework and even that framework seemed to be "This awesome girl who cares a lot and converses with animals". 

    Elena, Matt and "Meredith"(I refuse to call her that since book Meredith was awesome) are the major things that are VERY wrong with this show. Well appart from the fact that this season so far has been VERY directionless and that writers seem to  have no idea on what words "character development" mean...

    On top of that, Stefan and Damon also lost the traits that made them relatively interesting in Season  One. Stefan's "Dark past" got completely whitewashed and out of "Steffie as villain" teases and build up came up a big whopping NOTHING. 

    Damon stopped being a multilayered character and became a very whimpy crybaby who lashes out at people. There are no layers any more. S1 Damon had multiple layers beyond the "wayward misunderstood wrong soon" act writers want him to play now...

    SO yeah. Elena, Matt, Meredith, Stefan and Damon. They ARE the weakest link of this show.

    I think I'm more concerned about who should live rather than who should die. So here are the people I'd hate to see go: Stefan, Elijah, Katherine, Bonnie, Damon, Elena, Alaric, Caroline, Tyler and Sheriff Forbes.  
    I also like Jeremy,  Klaus and Rebekah, but I'd be less devastated if they disappeared.

    Bonnie - because she isn't much of a character. She has been in the show since it started, but she was hardly developed at all (just like Matt). She is only there when Elena needs someone to complain to or everybody needs saving from a big bad. Writers tried to introduce some lost mama drama recently which would have been effective had it been mentioned before. Plus, with all the supernatural stuff that happens in that town, Bonnie's family reunion would rank as a stress-less day (not including Klaus coffin business).
    Now our main cast can constantly rely Bonnie saving their buts (a.k.a. escape goat for the writers when they run out of ideas). If she were out of the picture and everything wouldn't be fixable with magic, we would have a lot more exiting show, I think.
