This is definitely a new low for Sutton, but so pointless. One talk between Emma, Ethan and or Thair (no idea how to spell that name) and the lie will come out.
So, what are the chances of this being renewed? I'm asking because I don't see how they can stretch this situation beyond the season finale, unless they kill off Sutton like in the books.
I am so tired of Sutton's jealous, petty, conniving petty ways that I get sick watching her. I love the show but whenever she is on I cringe. It is enough to make me stop watching the show. I know that she is young, immature and just lashing out, but all of her actions have very hurtful consequences that should be deterred not glorified. I wish they would take her character in a different way, she doesn't have to become angelic but this character is downright spiteful. Just go ahead and reveal they are sisters already, that would be interesting turn but I'm sure would not end the series. Revealing one truth as big as a twin reveal is sure to test the writers and create strong story lines.
Ah. Sutton. Too...young(?)...dumb(?) to realize that the reason everyone loves Emma and hates her is because she's a bitch. Theories about where that photo of Alec with the crowbar came from? Do you think it Rebecca was present at the garage and took the picture herself? I'm not more convinced than ever that Rebecca is those girl's mother.
I was watching this ep and had the distinct feeling that it's time to put the sister against sister conflict to bed (well, after the truth comes out about the supposed sleeping around.) When this one comes out - and it will (Emma doesn't strike me as the time to avoid confronting Ethan for long) - Sutton will loose everyone. And for me forcing the story back to a position where we're going down the Sutton betrays her "friends" story road AGAIN...will loose me.
I think, to keep he show fresh, its time for (a) Sutton to face her consequences and (b) to pit the kids against the villain. Let's start moving on that mystery.
And please reward us loyal viewers with Sutton facing her consequences!
So, do you have any theories on why she was so keen on helping get Ethan off the hook? She seemed so eager that was the only theory I could come up with.
I've been wondering if they were going to do that or not. After last nights ep I'd rather see her deal with having EVERYONE venting their anger at her. We've got two mysteries that they haven't been touching on at all...I wonder if a "Who killed Sutton?" mystery can be sustained as well.
I know but I hate Sutton sooo much, LOL! But I think that if they decide to kill Sutton, that will free them up to answer who their mother is (she will find out and make herself known). Then they can deal with bringing Alec down or whatever else they are going to do.
They have removed any redeemable characteristic Sutton had any hope of having. As I said a couple months ago...she has no loyalty to ANYONE....and that's a kill offable character. (If Sutton were a guest character instead of a regular she wouldn't make it through a whole episode.)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Of all the things Sutton has done, I think today was her hitting rock bottom

ReplyDeleteYes, they must kill Sutton, to keep the show going and ramp up the intensity.

Yeah, I have read the books. I don't mind the differences but at some point they are going to have to kill ONE of the twins.
