     I think it's making things worse for Ethan since she doesn't know exactly how things happened that night.

    Well, for someone who was guessing about what happened with Derek, she got the answer about how many times Ethan hit Derek.  But Emma does NOT have poker face.

    Alec looks the guiltiest so I'm guessing he's going to be proven innocent.

    What I can't believe is that Emma is so slow on the library as a cover lie thing.   

    hee hee...  "I'm innocent because I'm Sutton's twin."  isn't going to go over very well.  LOL

    I really shouldn't enjoy this show as much as I do.  Someone has a rule written down somewhere.

    Good episode.
     - I've got no proof to back it up but I think that Rebecca killed Derek.  I think she's not only the mother but she's certifiably crazy too.  Crazier than Annie Hobbs.
     -  Both Sutton and Ethan gave Emma a huge mess to clean up this time.
     - I hope Laurel gets away from Justin as soon as possible.
     - For how sly Alec is, he's sure gullible when it comes to Rebecca.  He's wrapped around her finger.
     - Thayer leering in at Emma through the window looked a lot creepier than it was probably intended.
     - It's really starting to stretch the bounds of plausibility that no one in the Mercer household isn't suspicious about the Emma / Sutton situation yet.
     - Anyone else get the feeling that Ethan is going to do something stupid with Sutton while they're hiding out?

    Rebecca?  Oooo!  Interesting theory!

    Alec's one of those arrogant guys who is so used to having all of his bases covered that he hasn't even noticed that he's lost control of the Rebecca situation. ;-)

    Your stretching the bounds of plausibility comment made me chuckle.  I tossed plausibility out my window somewhere during the first episode.  I figured I'd have more fun without it. :-D

     I've brushed plausibility aside for the most part myself.  However, when Kristen is in the police station and the timeline that she and Alec establish puts Sutton in two places at once, something has to click in that head of hers.  (Yet, somehow, it doesn't.)

    Oh, yeah.  I remember that moment.  Since the concept of their being two of them hadn't entered her mind...she went straight for "i must be wrong."  If she were aware there were twins....eep!  You know who SHOULD have twigged and was standing right there was dear old Dad.  Doesn't he know there were twins born?  Or is Alec the only one? (am I remembering correctly that it was revealed in the first half of the season that Alec knows about the twins?  I'd completely forgotten)
