It was awesome! Distressed!Danny was the best. And I love that Stan was willing to let Danny kill him to save Grace. That was amazing and so sweet of him.
...if Scott Caan doesn't get nominated for something for this, there is no justice in this world. The last ten mins had me in tears. Nobody messes with Danny's family & Yes he's been hanging out with McGarrett way too long. 2nd to last scene - McGarrett style. Scott Caan - You are the man!! I love you!
If that doesn't tell you about by feelings towards this episode, nothing else will.
Leave out the pointless Lori scene aka once again the supposed bad ass female transformed into the damsel in distress, this ep would be perfect. Scott Caan killed it, so broken up over his missing Gracie. Steve was intense, doing anything to save Danny and Grace. Perfect casting for the bad guy, truly creepy. Great drama, angst and action. First ep in a while that was so character driven and intense.
Best episode this season by far. Though for the amount of time Danny's ex-partner spent setting up this whole revenge scheme, he gave up a little too easily at the end. Can't quite figure out what his master plan was... but the episode was fun and exciting from beginning to end! Hope they keep up the momentum!
Awesome. Best performance Scott Caan has turned out. I liked the pacing of the building up...well of the whole episode.
While I was watching my recording I was trying to find out the name of the guy playing Rick Peterson. I couldn't find it at imdb or tv.com. Weird. tvrage had it though. Awesome ep!
Great episode. Scott Caan nailed it with the range of emotions from anger, frustration, fear, and guilt. Alex also had a great performance. Uncle Steve almost lost it a couple times. Who did not twinge when Gracie took Petersen's hand. Every parent's nightmare. Yeah I know a lot of you like to pick apart the non plausible parts, but this is entertainment, not real life, so just enjoy the great performances. Love this show and I am looking forward to the rest of the season.
Awesome episode. Brilliant performance from Scott Caan. And a fantastic one from AOL as well - we could see how worried he was for Danny and his family. Peter Greene was great as the villain. It was good to see the core 4 working together. The only downside was that ridiculous opening scene with Lori - at least it meant she was sidelined for the ep. Also...would be nice to see a bit more of Max.
It was decent. - Under the circumstances, Danny acted as any caring parent would. - What was the point of Lori messing up her ankle? The whole thing was totally random. - Peter Greene's performance was the best part of the episode. He was great. - The writers need to find a way to make Danny a single dad because Rachel and Stan have to go. Danny's inability to move on is becoming a big, off-putting character flaw. - Once again, the writers give nothing of any merit to the female characters of this show.
I loved Scott and Peter's performance, I hope that Rick escapes and hurts danny physically, when they announced this episode it seemed that Danny was going to get physically hurt big time. Don't get me wrong it was the best episode this year, but a little Danny whump would be great.
It was so emotional to see Danny like that and willing to do anything for Rachel and Grace even though she is still with Stan and has had his baby. Danny really loves her and it's heartbreaking :(
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Awesome ep!
The episode was really great but I got a bit annoyed at all the advertising they had in it - like the car and they Bing-search.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this like the 3rd time one of Danny's ex=partners/New Jersey friends ended up dead? Watch out Steve, Danno is cursed; you may be next!
ReplyDeleteGreat episode. Very intense. I just wish they wouldn't always skip the part where they have to face the repercussions for what they did...
ReplyDeleteIt was Peter Greene. Awesome performance he gave. Really creepy. He was in Pulp Fiction.

ReplyDeleteAhhhhh, thx! Knew that his face looked familiar. Now I remember him as the Pimp-owner in Pulp Fiction. :)
