    I'm so curious to see how this is going to play out.. and I love that they aren't giving everyone Disney-style, fairy tale happy endings, even in the past.  I've loved the twists they've put on the traditional stories so far, and I'm sure this one won't be any different.

    My theory about this next episode is that it's going to pick up where "Desperate Souls" left off - with the intense, brooding Rumpelstiltskin right after his transformation into the Dark One. That Rumple isn't quite the same as the one we've seen in stories set later in the Fairy Tale timeline, as far as his personality is concerned. Something about his encounter with Belle will change him, though obviously not for the better. Something made him into the more twisted, cackling wack-job he eventually became.
