Bacon is slated to play a retired FBI profiler in the thriller, which centers on a deranged serial killer who creates his own cult of murderers via the wonders of technology.

Actually sounds pretty interesting!
ReplyDeleteOkay, with Kevin Williamson involved it was pretty good, but now with Bacon it sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind the fact that if it gets picked up, it's for a 15-episode season with no possibility of a full 22-episode order. FOX would land a big movie star if it gets ordered, it makes sense Bacon would want to be able to shoot something else during the year, or maybe he wanted to do like his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, with her 15-episode seasons on The Closer (the usual TNT order).
But obviously I hope Fringe won't have to get cancelled for this project to happen.
OK FOX you have my attention.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds really interesting. Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteKevin Bacon. On TV. I'm pretty much sold on this tbh.
ReplyDeleteI am getting pretty tired of all of these vampire shows, just give ms a good Sci-Fi show any day.
ReplyDeleteWow, this will really make that Six Degrees game interesting.
ReplyDeleteKevin Bacon has never been a big draw for me and the premise of this show isn't doing much for me either so I'm categorizing this project as a definite "wait and see."
ReplyDeletelol Kevin Bacon vs the Legion of Doom... sounds kinda interesting
ReplyDeletehmmm Kevin Bacon i always think about The Air Up There movie idk why it doesnt translate to tv show maybe it will work.
ReplyDeleteOkay still not too crazy bout the consept of the show, but I'd watch Kevin Bacon in pretty much anything....
ReplyDeleteInteresting that the casting is driving the series order or is it that Bacon would only be in 15 episodes but other characters would take the lead for the remaining 7? FOX would definitely get instant buzz about this one if it goes through. I know I would watch the pilot. The premise is intriguing as well.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't a vampire show. It's created by a guy who made a vampire show (Kevin Williamson is the executive producer of the Vampire Diaries). This is another crime procedural with a twist. And exceptional casting if it goes through.
ReplyDeleteI love Kevin Bacon so will probably check out the pilot for this
ReplyDeleteI suppose that's bad news for the 2 HBO pilot projects he's attached to.
ReplyDeleteOK, Kevin Bacon in this and it is going to be worth trying for sure.
ReplyDeleteOkay i read the whole article, now it makes sense, and interesting,Thanks for pointing it out to me.I never would have given it a second glance.
ReplyDelete15 episodes a season would probably mean that it would be a midseason show, starting around
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that when readin Kevin Bacon would play a retired FBI profiler I wondered why he wouldn't play the derange serial killer? (So he got to old for that role, didn't he? Too bad)
ReplyDeleteKevin Bacon has been one of my favorite actors for many many years now and I am absolutely thrilled to find out that he's landed one of the lead roles in Kevin Williamson's new project. One of the only projects that seemed interesting to me so far. And it's getting better and better.
