And whether you cheered, exclaimed, groaned or gasped (maybe all four?), executive producer Craig Thomas promises one thing: Ted isn’t backing down from his statement in next week’s episode. “It’s out there now. It’s out there between Ted and Robin,” he tells EW. “We had [Ted's season one flame] Victoria come in episode 3 of season 7 and she looked into her crystal ball and said, ‘Something’s going to happen with this you being friends with Robin thing. Something’s going to come from that.’ And we’re going to see that something will.”

Still pissed. Jerk move, Ted. I freaking hated Kevin and Robin/Kevin, but you don't Mosby someone who just broke up with her boyfriend! (Even though they had been dating for five months. And she cheated and had a pregnancy scare. And repeatedly lied to him. And he was only her safe option.)
ReplyDeleteI hope this wraps up soon, because I can't wait for the reveal that Robin is the Bride.
The journey to the end of the season sounds interesting. I'm in interested where this development with Ted and Robin takes them. Because we know ain't gonna bring them together in the end.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheap move by the writers. We've all been through this before. What's the point of even toying with the thought of Robin and Ted when everyone knows they aren't going to end up together. Plus, if there was ever a worse time for Ted to confess his love, that was it. I mean seriously, right after Robin and Kevin broke up over the fact that they want different things out of life? Kevin and Ted basically have the same ideals and Robin knows that. Ugh. I just want Barney and Robin to get back together.
ReplyDeleteI don't want either Ted or Barney to end up with Robin. Not only would it be repetitive for all characters involved, the last time Barney and Robin were a couple it dragged the whole show down. Those were my least favorite episodes ever.
ReplyDeleteBecause the writters did a poor job, not because Robin & Barney.
ReplyDeleteThey're giving us full closure on the storyline and I like that.
ReplyDeleteThis!
ReplyDeleteYuck. I definitely groaned, and that was the ONLY reaction I had. I think we're way past this relationship.. I understand that the producers think they need closure or whatever, but I thought we GOT that. Oh well.. I still love the show, so we'll see where they take it.
ReplyDeleteI just screamed "WHAT? AGAIN???"...I didn't like it. It'll never work and we know that, so why bring that up again? Well, I really don't like it but I'll wait to see what the writters have in mind.
ReplyDeleteI groaned, but if the writers know what they're doing, and it does take the characters in a good direction, then I'm on board. The rest of the season sounds good!
ReplyDeleteAnd what if she's not? Would you stop watching?
ReplyDeleteIndeed this!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame Barney & Robin for the way the relationship went cause after it's stupid cause they are fictional character. However, I loved when they were dating they were so cute most of the time.
I just hope that this will be definitely the last time they show anything about romantic feelings betwen the two of them.
ReplyDeleteThere's too much drama on this show for a sitcom and they've stretched this series too thin.
ReplyDeleteTed should just let his feelings for Robin go. They are good as friends, not as a couple.
