    I wonder how many pronunciations of Ygritte we will get from different people prior to the season airing?

    Kit actually pronounced it like I read it... That makes me happy since I won;t have to adjust to some new pronunciation! I always hate when I read it one way and then hear the author's pronunciation and it is different!

    Nice of Jon to bring up Qhorin Halfhand! I'm glad Simon got a pre-season shout out!

    I don't think people should get too excited about Ygritte, there weren't actually any meaningful scenes between her and Jon until book 3, so unless they moved something from book 3 to season 2, it's only gonna be a set up for what comes next year.

     Well Darque i finally started S1 and i see it is going to cause me grief,ha to say the least.There are quite a number of people involved,and some of the pronunciations leave me shaking my head wondering why? 
    I will be watching the first episode again,my brain became overloaded halfway thru,i'm persisted if nothing else! Hope all is well!  :)

    Exactly, this season I suppose we will only see her introduction and maybe a little bit more from book 3. Most scenes should still be with The Night's Watch.

    Ha!

    Yes there are a number of characters to keep track of, something like 130 in the first book and over 300 by Book 3 or 4.... I forget.

    The good news is that less ar eon the TV series, so if you get reasonably familiarized with the book, then the TV series will be easy to follow!

    Was wondering why yiou had not been posting as much recently, now I have my answer. You started reading Game of Thrones! It can occupy quite a lot of time! XD

      No the reason why i haven't been posting is because i haven't been feeling well,then to add insult to injury i  was eating pistachios,i had one that wasn't opened so of course i used my front teeth to open it and i did,but while it was opening my front tooth shattered,and my other front tooth ad a chuck taken out of it. Needless to say i need a dentist fast,i guess my pistachios days are numbed
     Nice to know you missed me,i hope my back will be okay in the next few days.then i should be back full time again.I think you know my screen cracked,so while Ken is sleeping i use his then when he needs it at night then i have to hook up my laptop the my TV so i can see what i;m doing.Ken is getting a laptop sent from Australia it should be here within the next ten days. So i will have this laptop or the new laptop,which for me is great then i can leave it on spoilertv all night if i want.My hours will be different knowing ken will have his own too.

     Now you tell me there are 300 characters in book 3,Yikes surely i'm in for it..I haven't been posting because i have not been feel well,then to top that off i was trying to open a pistachio with my front teeth when my front tooth shattered and i have a small piece of my other tooth missing.Talk about adding insult to injury.I haven't had pistachios in 6 or 7 years,well never again.

    She's not even one of my favorite characters, but I tend to get excited for all the new characters appearances. Plus I do like Rose Leslie cast in the role!
