There was sadness on the set of NBC's Community when a familiar face learned his time at Greendale Community College will soon come to a sudden end.

"A character from the show will die," reveals star Joel McHale. He says the victim, although probably not one of the comedy's main stars, is "someone you've seen a lot. And he dies in the mid-afternoon."

    Pfiou, for a moment I thought the title of this thread was related to the show's precarious status. It's indeed surprising to have the death of a character as a plot point on a comedy, but then again, Community is not your usual comedy.

    If it's Leonard (it's a safe bet it's him), I hope he'll come back in season 4 as an annoying ghost popping up randomly and giving poor advices to our study group, so that everyone can still say "shut up Leonard".

    Leonard of course is the obvious choice, so I don't think it will be him. Community's writers always try to stay away from such things. My money is on Garrett.

    I really hate these spoilers just because it seems like they've left us in limbo about when the show is actually coming back...I mean there are still 12 episodes left in S3 right? At this rate...when will they air them?

    I mean clearly there are other otpion but I think Leonard is the most realistic candidate.
