CBS Pilot - Casting News - Ryan Phillippe Joins Cast

Ryan Phillippe is joining the cast of CBS' untitled hour-long pilot from Greg Berlanti which was formerly titled Golden Boy. The series follows one cop’s meteoric rise from officer to detective to Police Commissioner, and Phillippe will be playing the lead role of this said cop.

    Won't he be a bit young to be a Police Commissioner? Will this be a flashback, telling his life story? Voice over from the future?

    I thought it was a rise TO police commissioner. So over the course of the show he'll "ascend" ranks.

    I tend to enjoy Greg Berlanti's stuff so I'll definitelly be keeping an eye on this one.
    And Ryan Phillipe, along with the rest of the casting, is just another draw in for me.
