I kind of like Anna Sophia Robb from the little I have seen of her, but her casting in no way makes me want to sit through a series that will likely fit the definition of "cruel and unusual punishment" by the Geneva Convention.
ReplyDeleteYeah, this show is definitely not for you, Darque, I mean unless you actually watch/watched Sex & The City and Gossip Girl. I just hope they don't butcher this one like they did with Gossip Girl. I am a big fan of Candice's. So, I know I will just be way too nit picky about this and that to actually enjoy it. Kind of the way I can't watch superhero movies. It's all about money versus being true to the source material.
ReplyDeleteI very rarely have any issue with a show being on the air even if it's not for me. If people want to watch this, I hope it's good for them!
ReplyDeleteIt can be a blessing or a curse if you're familiar with source material for a series. IF you love the source material it's too easy to be hyper-critical and if you hate the source material you may not give the show a chance no matter how good it is.
Well, the only show I watch based on a book that I LOVE to date that I have yet to take (too much) issue with is GoT. I actually think more people who never read the book watched the show than people who did. But I have an inkling that The CW fall line up is going to an epic fail. But at least they are trying *cough* NBC *cough*
ReplyDeleteI love her, but I already hate this show. So torn rn
ReplyDeleteuhmm, oh! I really like AnnaSophia.
ReplyDeleteBut I don't give a flying intercourse about this show :/
This girl has BIG shoes to fill...
ReplyDeleteThis series holds absolutely no interest for me. I find it cruel that they chose this pilot to cast the best actress. Why couldn't Anna Sophia Robb be cast on a show I am actually enticed to watch? Now I'm going to have to watch the pilot at least. You're killing me CW.
ReplyDeleteHi spoilertv! I also agree that no one will be able to replace those four women but, if I had to choose someone to play Carrie would be Saoirse Ronan from the movie THE LOVELY BONES I think would be perfect.
