Ernie Hudson has booked a recurring role on NBC’s futuristic drama Beautiful People, set in the near future in a society where humans co-exist with mechanical androids that look like people but are treated like second-class citizens. Hudson, repped by the Marshak/Zachary Co., will play the owner of a law firm.

    I am not sure I would like this premise. Slavery in whatever form is wrong.

    I'm thinking that could be the allegory of the show, so if handled well IMO it might be a interesting watch.
