    Interesting casting, especially 
    Adam Rothenberg. He doesn't look like the kind of hardened criminal who'd've been incarcerated at Alcatraz....and if he were, he looks like he'd've been somebody's punk within minutes.

    OK, in that picture he looks sneaky enough, but I still see him as a burglar or a guy who forges checks, not somebody who'd be in maximum security.

    From what I read, NONE of the series prisoners will be real Alcatraz inmates. They could not get the necessary releases or something... However, they are basing the show's inmates on real Alcatraz prisoners. Sometimes combining various stories into one TV character too.

    I know they based Ernest Cobb's personality on Alvin "Creepy" Karpis. but used their own criminal background on him to fit their story.
