Sherlock - Moffat says 'Fans won't wait long for third series'
19 Jan 2012
SherlockSteven Moffat has promised that Sherlock fans will not have "that long" to wait for a third series.
The writer told the Radio Times that he plans to "starve" and "tease" viewers in the run-up to future episodes.
"Get used to a bit of starvation," he said. "We're making movies - those six films we've made could go in the cinema. You can't factory produce that - it's a different kind of show.

ReplyDeleteThat's a start! Thanks;)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what not "that long" means - he's such a mean man LOL
ReplyDeletesure, he is. and guess what? steven knows! ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are movies. The length, the quality. Thought it is still tv. In the US network shows do 22 episodes. Which is much more than 3 feature length episodes. In any case, I don't mind waiting. It's been a nice special treat the last two years.
ReplyDeletegreat news
ReplyDeleteYeah, my thot was 17 months. lol
ReplyDelete"Not that long"? Cryptic, but I'll take it. As long as we're not in the 'several years' range, I guess I'll stand it!
ReplyDeleteMoffat and the cast all have things keeping them busy but this sounds encouraging.
ReplyDeleteMoffat is right. I'll gladly wait if I know the show maintain his high quality
