After Hope shows promising signs of being a baby genius, Jimmy becomes inspired to go back to school and prepare for the G.E.D. exam. But Jimmy is surprised to find his former high school teacher, Mr. Swift (guest star Fred Willard), instructing the G.E.D. class, and continuing to give Jimmy a hard time in the classroom. Meanwhile, Burt and Virginia worry that Jimmy could become the smartest family member if he passed the test, so they decide to take the G.E.D exam too. But they soon realize they'll need all the extra tutoring they can get in the all-new "Mrs. Smartypants" episode of RAISING HOPE airing Tuesday, Jan. 17 (9:31-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
