AMAZING SO DAMN AMAZING. Like I am so sorry I doubted you Steve Thompson but your previous work was merely average, this was speculator. This was extraordinary. This is a strong contender for episode of 2012 and we are only 2 weeks into the year.
Also every award possible for Martin Freeman, I don't care if he isn't eligible for a Oscar, he should win one for this. And a Grammy and a Brit Award. And the Nobel Price Prize. Every award ever.
Question for anyone: Have you seen Masterpiece Mystery! Sherlock:A study in pink? It is on tonight and i don't know anyone who has seen it,and i'm wondering if it is good. Thanks!
I loved how Sherlock substituted the body Which Mandy prepared for him. After he was seen by John Jumping. I loved how that bicyclist blocked his view for a moment so the switch could take place. I loved how Sherlock in now declared dead.
A bit underwhelmed by what happened to Moriarty (and the way it did). I knew there would be a third series when he mentioned three shooters. Who read the stories, knows the story of the 'Empty House'
The writing, the acting, the cinematography, the music, the editing ... Everything was just perfect.
Watching Sherlock understand Moriarty scheme but being unable to do anything to stop it was heartbreaking. Of course, we, viewers, were fooled, we weren't in the confidence, just like Watson. Sherlock was playing Moriarty, Holmes was one step ahead of the consultant criminel all the time. The mind duel between those two was epic.
Moriarty didn't have a secret code. Just old fashioned bribe and/or coercion. It was a trick. We, viewers, were fooled again. Nicely done writing team :-)
Mycroft, O dear! I hope that you worked with your brother all along and that the informations you gave to Moriarty were part of Sherlock plan.
John collapsing near is friend supposed dead body was heartwrenching. And during the scenes with the shrink and at the cemetery, Watson grief was so palpable. Martin Freeman performance was outstanding.
Sherlock you little liar. You do have "friends" you even named them :-)
So, Sherlock stay dead to protect his friends? Mycroft was right, caring is not an advantage.
IF sherlock faked his own death, could Moriarty have done the same?
How in hell are we gonna wait one year ?
“Just one more miracle. Sherlock, just one more. Don’t be dead. Stop it. Do it for me.”

OMG that was soo brilliant..i can't wait for next season. Its no wonder Sherlock treats them like idiots the cops and the press i mean they fell for Moriarty's ploy so easily Thank god for Molly and Mrs. Hudson for knowing better (they other females were just an embarrassment and of course for Watson for believing. It is true an annoyance as to how gullible the world can be. I really can't wait for next season to see which of my theories are correct.
That was soooo intense Sherlock showing all that even if he is odd that doesn't mean that he doesn't care.
Moriarty is incredible, insane and unbelievable! I was impressed. Watson spoiled the suspens when he went on to Sherlock's brother to confirm that he knew that Moriarty was who he was and not the actor payed off. It would be much more intense if he hadn't done that. The last speech of Shelock would be more meaningful cos' I was like "allright, you know it's not true, I know that's not true and Watson knows it's not true, why bother making up the story about being evil, Sh?" and the end had a "wow" factor, but I was sure about it 100%. Sh left some clues for us :)
I thought it was good, but not as good as either of the first 2 in this series.
It had the same problem a few other episodes have had, they make Sherlock the most brilliant detective alive and yet easy to figure out things escape him like the taxi driver is the killer or in this episode that Moriarty had accomplices in his 3 robberies. As soon as Moriarty revealed he had the jurors in his pocket it was obvious to me he probably did similar to the various security personnel. If he had the "Code" why would he need accomplices?
I think the writing was very fun in the first half, but failed in the second. By trying to make everything so clever they were too clever by half I think.
In addition, it seemed a little out of character for Moriarty to kill himself instead keep playing the only game he has ever enjoy in his life. One can argue it was his release and Sherlock set him free I guess, but I think Moriarty would have plotted a second revenge attempt.
Outside of those aspects I thought it was a very good episode. The first half of the episode was the funniest stretch of ANY Sherlock episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
OMFG.. I'm speechless. Motherfcking Moriarty. Just speechless..

Perfect down to the last second.
