They did a nice job of setting up Alec as the killer. But I doubt seriously that he's the one. Emma was massively slow on the Mads uptake. That was the one hard to buy moment of the episode for me. Really. I mean, this is a 17 year old girl, your friend ditches you at the LIBRARY and you call their parent!?!? I don't believe it. At all. Not even of goodie two shoes Emma. Am loving the addition of Charisma Carpenter. Why do I think Alec isn't going to know what hit him. And yay for Dan. Actually, standing up for his brother. I don't buy for a second the idea that Sutton's attempts to woo Ethan back are going to get any traction. :-)
This was a "bridge" episode. It basically served to connect the previous episode's events to the big episode coming up and the rest of the season.
- I felt sorry for Emma. She spent most of the episode trying to repair Sutton's damage but no one seems to believe her anymore. Laurel just assumes she's lying, Ted and Kristen think her sporadically nice behavior is just for show, and Emma unwittingly made things a lot worse between herself and Mads. - Laurel, what the hell are you thinking? Justin is bad news. Sutton may be a complete ass but she's right about Justin. - I got a sneaking suspicion that Thayer is starting to warm up to Emma. A little too much maybe. - Sutton continues to be the most self-serving, self-centered, heartless girl on the planet. How many times do people have to explain how awful she is before it finally sinks in?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Poor Ethan
ReplyDeleteAwww, I just want Ethan and EMMA to run away together, they should have done it when they had the chance.
ReplyDeleteIt was good, but i hated that Ethan left with Sutton!!
