I loved it! Any other show, Ryan would have freaked out about Jenny sleeping with the victim in the past, there would have been drama, and then they'd temporarily call the wedding off, and someone would get them back together. So happy that didn't happen here!
Great episode! Wish we could have seen the actual wedding, though.
AM-AH-ZING! Definitely a shame we didn't get to see the actual wedding, I think that would have been sweet. Really fun and happy episode. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.
So much to love here. This episode reminded me why Castle is the funniest crime procedural on TV. The one-liners zinged, the doughnut fight cracked me up, and we even had some fun with Alexis and Martha. All good. The only thing that bothered me was Esposito and Lanie. They are acting like two teenagers in a love spat and it annoys me to no end. Grow up both of you.
That was a great episode and a lot of fun moments and I loved the doughnut fight that was so funny. I bet the shippers loved the last scene with Castle and Beckett arm in arm walking down the isle!
good episode it was perfectly funny and felt like the old days of castle to when things were much simpler instead of wierd and simple lol. And yea im glad ryan's freak out didnt happen thats what castle does best they think about the characters and how they would react not how to make better drama. Good episode and next weeks looks pretty good. the only thing im surprised by is there was barely any bit of the wedding. I thought there would be vows or something.
I was surprised about the lack of wedding scenes as well especially after all the talk there was about the wedding in interviews about this episode. That would be my only real complaint about this episode
So pleased they didn't do a bouquet and/or garter belt moment, but really did want to see them dance... Maybe Rick will do some flashback daydreams for us!!
Great episode! It reminded me of how talented the writers really are, blending humor and intrigue. Esposito was hilarious as the jealous ex, though I wish he and Lanie would get over themselves. I was disappointed we didn't get to see more of the wedding, but I guess we can't have it all!
It was good, but they played up the wedding for weeks and they showed all of the last 30 second. They could of at least showed her walking down the isle, then fade to black.
Voted for great. The case was a little confusing but I like the character moments - Ryan fighting for the doughnut, the lack of fuss about Jenny and the victim and the one-liners. The only downside was that there was too little of the wedding for me.
Loved it. Of course, just the pure joy of having Castle back may have had me viewing the episode through rose colored glasses, but hey, I thought it was just lovely! And those last moments.... My whole family did a unanimous "awww"!
The only thing that bugged me: the wedding was way too short. Would have loved to see a dancing scene with Castle and Beckett. Apart from that, it was really great though! I laughed a lot =) And Becketts final comment on the number thing (relationship - yeah, she got that one right xD) - totally amazing. The best thing she could have said =)
The Lanie / Esposito thing doesn't bother me. On most procedurals, writers wouldn't even bother making these supplemental characters interesting enough for us to care that they were squabbling. It only bothers me when they act unprofessionally at crime scenes.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Aw, Ryan and Jenny :) Loved the Esposito & Lanie moment as well.

ReplyDeleteI expected more of the wedding, and Castle and Beckett dancing. Little more romance.

ReplyDeletefun
ReplyDeletewish there was more wedding....like the reception and a Caskett dance.
ReplyDeleteI Do agree with you there. I like how they did that but still an OK epi for me not much character advancement in the caskett ship but overall good.
ReplyDeletewith you there, it would be fun to see them at the reception.

ReplyDeleteTerrific episode, Just loved it.
ReplyDeleteMy only complaint is not enough wedding. I would've liked to see the vows and Ryan/Jenny dancing, maybe Caskett and Esplanie too. A fun one, though.
ReplyDeleteIt was great :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome ... Loved that Ryan already knew about gyrating Jenny!
ReplyDeleteGreat episode! Love that Ryan already knew about Jenny!
ReplyDeleteAwesome episode. Ryan rocks, and I loved Alexis/Martha scenes.
ReplyDeleteWould have liked more than 2:32 secs for a wedding

I agree with you. I liked Ryan reaction to the news (or better "lack of reaction")! And plenty of funny scenes!!
ReplyDeleteFinally caught it! great episode! always great to have the gang back!
