    Derek and Lexie have worked together well together loads and loads of times, in fact almost as much ans Mere and Derek. I kinda do see where you are coming from though - it's a real shame they won't work together any longer.

    Maybe Lexie is getting more face time cuz there is the possibility that Patrick dempsey & Ellen pompeo may not return next season! (That would be a shame) not sure how well the show would without those two - even though I do like lexie

    It's a possibility, but it's not like she's getting anymore screentime than anyone else. I think even though Meredith does the voice-overs and such it's a strong ensamble cast that doesn't necessarily need a leading character -  I think if Ellen and Patrick do leave they'll only up Lexie's screentime a little and just get her to do the voiceovers. I don't know, that's just my idea of what would happen.

    I actually like, maybe a bit more than before, that now Lexie is doing neuro with Shep. I mean it goy me thinking that if Mer operated with him again, they would basically share all their screentime, and that sucks for storytelling. I love 'em but I would get a bit bored if that happened.

    On the side, I think that it also makes their relationship more interesting character wise, because spending every hour of their days together could take their toll, maybe.

    If it continues, I do hope they give Meredith a new specialization plot.

    Derek Shepherd tossing a coin and not trying in surgery ha i don't buy it, successful surgery coming right up.
    OOoooooo Crowen explosion yeah baby now this is what we have been waiting for, but i do fear that bedroom in the dreamhouse especially for Cristina will come to fruitition for a time.

    I don't really think they are going to leave anyway, I think they'll stay for at least another season, maybe with Dempsey having a little less screentime. I just don't personally think the show will go downhill, but it'll lose a lot of fanbase.
