BLAIR STRUGGLES WITH A DECISION ABOUT HER FUTURE — Blair (Leighton Meester) must make a difficult decision about her future, the consequences of which could hurt those she loves most. Serena (Blake Lively) takes the blame for an incident with Gossip Girl in order to protect someone she loves.. Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) smells the scent of scandal and decides to follow its trail. Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. David Warren directed the episode written by Matt Whitney (##514).

    That's all extremely vague.  More than usual, actually.  It's most likely due to the fact that all of it is fallout from whatever happened in the wedding episode.

    Not to nitpick, but shouldn't Blair have been making difficult decisions about her future before she got married, not after?  That seems like a pre-wedding thing to me.  Not that this press release gives much to go on, but making difficult future decisions instead of, say, honeymooning, is not an indication that the marriage is going well.

    And really, when you're in love with another guy and one of your closest friends, who happens to be in love with you and who you are more open and vulnerable with than your fiancee or the guy you're in love with or even your lifelong best friend, writes your husband's wedding vows and is the best man and all, well, that just has Kim Kardashian length marriage written all over it.  And the fact that it got this far is just sad.

    Er. Anyway. Serena has a Gossip Girl thing happening, you say?

    very vague, still thinking she may marry Louis but they don't concemate the marriage so it will be void by epi 15 where she will end up with ???????

    Upon reading this again, It seems even more suspicious.  The episode is called "The Backup Dan" and yet there's no reference to Dan in the synopsis at all.
