Here's a new trailer for NBC's upcoming high concept drama Awake. It's not too different from the first trailer, but there is new music and some new footage in the second half. Enjoy.
I've been waiting for this series more than any other pilot this season I think. My interest level has been consistently high even if my hopes have wavered a bit...
Jason Isaacs is enough but toss in Laura Allen, Dylan Minette, Cherry Jones and BD Wong and the cast is enough to make me watch this no the reviews or how low possibility of renewal might be... and even put up with the annoying Wlimer Valderrama.
I am intrigued by this trailer because it seems to sum everything up, guy living two lives one with his wife one with his son, solving cases, possibly being helped by the knowledge in the other life and perfectly content with his situation because he gets to see both his loved ones.
Now this is all fine and dandy but surely there has to be some big twist in this, otherwise there seems to be no real mystery as he isn't fighting to get back to either world.
Interesting topic but I'm afraid I'm gonna get turned off by the procedural factor of this show. Too many of those and the only ones that seem to be working in a long-term are those really....cliched ones. But I hope I'm mistaken.
Wow, a great trailer for what I hope becomes a big hit for NBC. Great cast, interesting premise and hopefully great writing.... a twist on a procedural that looks like it will make you think as well as feel. My fingers are crossed for this show.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
