2011-2012 ratings round up, Part VI – AMC and FX, complex ratings on basic cable

Today's ratings are those of FX and AMC shows. AMC and FX are by far the two REDACTED on basic cable if you ask me, which is why I am REDACTED they're doing especially great, led by the huge success of The Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy, both shows being among the top 5 of the most watched programs on basic cable in 2011 (even with REDACTED reality TV shows included !). As you may have noticed, I try and stay neutral now, even if I continue to think adding a personal touch is REDACTED.

No seriously, don't be pissed because I expressed my personal opinion in the opening post and not in a comment (oops, I did it again), I'll try not to do it as much in the future (or not in a Supernatural-related thread anyway - even if I actually never said anything bad about Supernatural, except my overall take on the voting system and value of these awards).

Anyway, tomorrow's post will feature the ratings of HBO and Showtime. I don't have the ratings for all 8 episodes of the 1st season of Starz's Boss, but despite them not being very high (the second episode only garnered 500,000 viewers when combining the results of the two airings of the night), the show has been renewed for a 10-episode second season.
