    I liked it! Didn't see the Gwen/dear coming, was a fairly evil plan of Morgana, getting Arthur to (attempt to) kill Gwen.

    Great episode, but I'm a little disappointed that A/G didn't get to see each other. And he almost shot her! I did not see this one coming. Evil Morgana! Can't wait for two final episodes;)

    I rated it poor. The whole plot was built on one coincidence after the other. And Gwen is being turned into a martyr. Arthur's engagement was a rehash of another engagement of his a season or two back, almost word for word. Agravaine stealing the plans could've been squeezed into the previous episode, nothing else had any lasting impact. And Agravaine got away scot free again, of course, making Merlin look like an idiot.

    After the flawless first half of this season I expected something more from the writers. Something bigger and better.

    I loved that fact because it would have been so darn repetitive for just a "Where is she?" "I know where!" *Meets ~ Hugs ~ Love ~ Happy ending* - I loved how it was realistic and slow moving, I simply enjoyed it. Arthur's behavior was really true, how mean he was to Merlin - but it was so understandable, so realistic. And the Princess scene with Merlin, how she talks to him as if she needs his permission to get close to Arthur as she knows that without his consent he won't continue his relations ship with her, it adds allot to the story. It joined all the dots that have been scattered around in this season, Episode "he Secret's Sharer" joined the dot about the magic, and Arthur's view on it thanks to Gaius, and this episode rounded everything else. I feel like this was a perfect way to open the season's Finales.

    7/10 ~ Great

    Strange coincidences has always been part of Merlin, as are plot holes.   Arthur had no problems this time finding Gwen's ring in a huge forest, but failed to discover Lancelot's bracelet in a tiny cell?!  Hmmmmm. But you could probably find lots of similar occurences in any show.
     
    I loved the episode, whatever. Bradley and Colin were absolutely wonderful yet again.  I loved the way Arthur asked Merlin's advice directly.  It was also made clear by Mithian that Arthur does value his opinion above all others.  Still, Arthur is very touchy when it comes to Agravaine  (after all he is his only relative left), but we know Merlin will have the gratification of being shown to be correct about him all along pretty soon.
