BBC One’s much praised, multi-award winning drama Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, returns for an eagerly awaited second series of three, 90 minute films – A Scandal In Belgravia, The Hounds Of Baskerville and The Reichenbach Fall.
A Hound from Hell. A terrified young man. Sherlock's most famous case. But is a monster really stalking Dartmoor? Something terrible has happened to Henry Knight. Sherlock and John investigate the truth about the monstrous creature which apparently killed their client's father. But what seems like fantasy in Baker Street is a very different prospect in the ultra-secret army base that looms over Dartmoor...
Benedict Cumberbatch returns as Sherlock Holmes, with Martin Freeman as John Watson, Mark Gatiss as Mycroft, Rupert Graves as Inspector Lestrade, Una Stubbs as Mrs Hudson, Andrew Scott as Moriarty, Louise Brealey as Molly Hooper and Russell Tovey as Henry Knight.

Oh I hope this one is as scary as they are making out, can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait, sounds as if it's going to be a good episode :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they shot much of this on Dartmoor - I should have checked filming schedules, I live about half an hour away!
ReplyDeleteThis was always my favorite story in from the canon, when Watson sets out to investigate on his own and even Holmes thinks he does a pretty fine job of it... Not to mention spectral hounds are automatically pretty fun. Can't wait to see what they come up with for the modern-day counterpart.
ReplyDeleteAnd the character is Henry Knight, eh? As an adaptation from "Sir Henry," that's actually quite funny!
Thanks i can't wait now that i know it's coming!! :)
ReplyDeletethat's what she said
ReplyDeleteSounds so ominous. But I like it!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the modern take on this story. Should be good.
ReplyDeleteVery excited about this.
