  1. I have no intention on watching any of them

  2. Will give Alcatraz, House of Lies and maybe The Firm a try, don't expect much from any of them, though.
Already watched the Luck pilot and was very disappointed, don't think I will bother with that anymore. :(

  8. Alcatraz, House of Lies, Luck, & The Finder.

I had to look up some of these shows (Arctic Air, Angry Boys, Unsupervised) because I had no idea what they were.  After doing so, I decided to pass on all of them.

  9. Alcatraz for sure, but I will give The Firm, Angry Boys, Luck, and House of Lies a look

  10. Alcatraz, House of Lies and Luck
I may try Bomb Girls and Arctic Air after a few episodes, may not,

  11. House of Lies looks very good and I love Kristen Bell so I gotta check it out and Alcatraz looks interesting, nothing else looks interesting enough to waste my time with.

  12. Alcatraz and Luck aside, january looks grim.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Definitely Alcatraz, don't know about the others;)

  14. Where is Awake at?

    ReplyDelete
  15. its not premiering in January maybe March or something no fixed date

  16. Tariq - it would be greatly appreciated if you could add networks for these shows when you post.  I've only heard of a couple so doubtful they'll do well in the ratings if they haven't been very well promo'd.

  17. Oh sorry my mistake I was thinking all over next year.

  20. There are also a few other new shows coming that you might be interested in.

The Fades on BBC America, already shown in the UK.
Lost Girl on Syfy, already shown in Canada.
Touch, the pilot will preview in January, regular episodes in March.

  21. "Watching" is rather a radical term for what I plan. Let's say, I will check out the pilot for Alcatraz. Whether I'll continue watching the series is as yet undecided. Nothing else on this list looks interesting.

  22. The one that I'm looking forward to isn't on the list but maybe I'll see about Alcatraz

  23. I will watch Alcatraz and House of Lies.

  24. Alcatraz, Bomb Girls, House of Lies, Jane by Design, Luck and The Firm ... Plus I will watch Missing, Awake and The River when they air after January...

MY guess is that Bomb Girls, Luck, Missing and The River will be weekly watches, Alcatraz, The Firm and Awake I am not sold on just yet for reasons from production problems to plotline to premise.

House of Lies Is an odd one for me. I love the cast but I cannot get excited about the series. The ads did not help either.

Jane by Design I have little hope for but ABCFamily series have surprised me before and now I check out most of them the first couple of episodes at least.

  25. Baff, If you like The Fades once you sample it make you you go to YouTube after each episode. BBC released a couple deleted and extra scenes (some with commentary some without) for every episode as well as typically releasing a behind-the-scenes video or a featurette per episode too.

Something like 25 supplemental videos. Quite a lot for an 6-episode series!

  26. Alcatraz, Luck and I'm going to try The Firm.

    ReplyDelete
  27. don't forget about Common Law on USA Network! it premieres on the 26th!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Only a couple for me. I don't tend to pick up too many new series right away. A few I try out as they air but mostly I wait for some word-of-mouth to see what's worth checking out.

  29. Luck for sure, and I'll watch the Pilot of The Firm and House of Lies.

    ReplyDelete
  30. There are 5 but i am sure i will not care for some.If by some slim chance that i actually do i  will watch them later in the season.

    Alcatraz-House of lies-Luck-The Firm-The Finde

I already didn't care for The Finder, but since they replaced the female i will give it another shot.

Does anyone know if Bomb will be shown in the states? Looks interesting!

  33. I'm pretty sure it was pushed back to summer, let me check it out ..... There we go:

  34. IF Bomb Girls gets picked up by an American network it will be a good ways down the road.  Right now it's just a Canadian production for Global, but other Canadian shows like Lost Girl and The Listener have aired in Canada and then aired in the US a year or more later.

  35. The River airs February 7 I think...

A few Other late starters: (all subject to change)
Touch  premieres March 12 after the Alcatraz finale on FOX.
    Missing
premiere s March 15 on ABC.
Awake has a tentative March premiere date on NBC.

  36. I think I'll stick to my Once Upon A Time and Hart of Dixie...

    ReplyDelete
  37. Wow,that long...that's to bad Bomb Girls looks interesting.I grew up hearing stories of them,i really wanted to check it out....Thanks for getting back and letting me know. :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. I completely forgot about Touch, and i was only talking about it yesterday.I think i need to pair down my list, thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  39. It could be faster or even longer! XD
I think Durham County started on The Movie Network in Canada in May 2007 and first premiered in the US on ION Network in September 2009. Almost two and a half years later.Flashpoint started on CTV in Canada on July 11, 2008 and premiered on CBS in the US July 28, 2008. Only two and a half weeks later. So it is really just about if and when a US network buys the rights to air the series.....

  40. Please do stick with Hart of Dixie!

It may be sweet and soapy, but I think it's the best made of the new CW series this year honestly.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Waiting for Alcatraz. Heard about it when Jorge Garcia was casted and got even a bit more interested when read about the remaining cast. I hope they don't screw up, after so many talk about not-so-good news and stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Alcatraz, House of Lies, and I might sample The Firm.

    ReplyDelete
  43. the LA complex, house of lies and Alcatraz.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I will check out House of lies

    ReplyDelete
  47. Alcatraz and House of Lies are the only two I'm truly looking forward to. even though ill watch the finder, rob and unsupervised.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I was only gonna check out House of Lies, and since I've already seen it it was a real disappointment for me. Maybe i'll watch the second episode and if it doesn't get better then no new show for me.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Out of interest, where did you get to see it?

    ReplyDelete
  50. A friend has it, I guess from the internet :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sure, If you gonna watch it let me know what you think afterwards.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'll probably wait till it airs in the USA and then I'll download. I'll add my comments to the "What did you think"poll for it
