    I was not expecting that. The CIA, damn now we gotta wait until Sept 2012. Can't wait its going to be another great season.

    I did not see the cartel connection being CIA. Ladies and gentleman I now can see where the next year or two is going plot wise! AWESOME....

    I loved Juice watching The Shield! XD

    Ha! How awesome was Lincoln Potter dropping all the sex toys (including the Sum Yung Boi doll for the discerning pedophile) onto the courtroom table? The correct answer = awesome squared! XD

    Just when I thought the episode was lacking the intesity of the previous half dozen episodes.... Whoa! That Jax and Clay scene was incredible. Charlie Hunnam should be on more Best Actor lists..... Seriously! Add to it the look on Gemma's face when she walks in and sees Clay still breathing.... Wow! XD

    ITA will everything u say. Charlie's performance was incredible ppl need to take more notice. I am so glad they had Tara do that, walk in and be supportive of Jax that was amazing. Gemma's face was priceless. She did groom Tara for this I guess she didn't realize how good Tara was going to be at it. LOVED IT!!!!

    Somber and quiet yet exciting. So many interesting turns. And what's to become of everyone now? A shift in the dynamic is a great move this show.

    All the performances are top notch. Everyone is so convincing and multi-layered. You can tell the mark of a good actor when they don't even need to speak to command the screen. Awesome show. Gonna miss it.

    Exactly. This finale really completed the transformation of Jax, Tara and the club as a whole. 

    Jax basically castrated Clay by cutting off his patch and spitting on him. Tara did a similar thing to Gemma by replacing her as the power behind the power.

    I always thought this was based on Hamlet in structure. So ends Act II of the play, now the final act begins next year.

    Agreed.

    I love it when the performance goes beyond words and the actor just "IS" the role and you feel everything they are thinking without a single word said. The most powerful scenes or parts of scenes tonight were all nonverbal.

    Love how you put it "the complete transformation of Jax, Tara and the whole club." Can't wait for next season they have set it up to be another great season so many things to play out and I have to say this is one of the few shows that has amazing actors all around that can pull off anything, so the sky is the limit. Looking foward to whats next in this chapter am dying for spoilers when they start coming out, which won't be anytime soon but one can dream lol.

    I think this episode could have been called " Quiet Chaos " everything was somber and quiet as you said yet the twist and turns of everything that went down was crazy and chaotic!! I never seen the CIA thing coming at all but I loved how it worked out all the way around. I loved the scene with potter dumping the sex toys out at the city council meeting and his line " The good guys needed a win today " was awesome. I'm really excited about next season and where it will all lead but you know clay will never sit back and keep his mouth shut, he doesn't know how, lol.

    Wow!! That was an amazing finale!! I did not expect the whole CIA thing at all.... I thought that the episode would include much more shooting and killing and generally more action,but it turned out much better without any of those things!Sons of Anarchy was the best tv show of 2011 for me (i think i would place it even higher than GoT!!!)
