  1. The preview for next week looks great.

  2. No sword, and no stone, so the title is more than just a lil beyond me.  Should have called this half of the finale a different name imo :p

Great episode thou, Bradley had me in stitches as the village simpleton XD

  3. COlin Morgan was fantastic in that episode again! I loved his comedic moments. And the serious ones too! His scenes with Arthur were so funny! And Merlin's reunion with his mother was the sweetest. Great episode.

  4. Arthur in capri pants and crop top = hot mess.

  5. I loved all the Merlin and Arthur moments, particluarly moving was the scene at the campfire.  Arthur searching his soul why he never notices when people he cares for betray him.  I wonder what Merlin thought at that moment?   Merlin did give him a lot of very caring emotional support there, just to be called 'servant' by Arthur at the end again.   Will nothing ever change?

  6. Thank you, I much prefer "Good" in the 2nd poll slot rather than "Great".  For me, great and awesome mean pretty much the same thing.

  7. It was good, but not extraordinary.
Unfortunately, the problem of this series is the lack of the reveal. It's time for Arthur to know about Merlin because, frankly, is not realistic that he doesn't notice anything and hasn't seen Merlin using magic, not even once, considering he's using it at least once a day.
Fingers crossed for the next season! :D

  8. Prelude to a "cracking" finale.  Loved it all - I just hope, like everyone else, that Merlin reveals himself to Arthur.  I also like the way in which Arthur and Gwen hugged.  They still have a fair way to go but at least they've made the first step.  Can't wait for next week!!!!!

  9. I freakin' loved the episode! :) And now I'm dying for all the action in the next one!

For those who want the magic reveal, I totally understand and it's what we all want--BUT it shouldn't happen in the next episode. It needs to happen in the fifth season. As much as I don't want to admit it, Arthur's not ready. He was just betrayed by Agravaine and if Merlin suddenly shows he has magic it will do a lot more harm. Believe me, I know how frustrating it is but you have to look at it through Arthur's perspective. He's been raised by Uther that magic = greatest evil in the world. Then when he started to feel differently, he finds out that Morgana has seemingly been corrupted by magic, and then it seems like his father was killed by magic. That's going to set him back a bit.

And I know we feel like that's not enough and he should see all the good things that happen and how Merlin's always been there for him, but this series is from Merlin's perspective. We as the audience know a LOT more than Arthur. If this was shown through Arthur's perspective it would look a whole lot different.

So I know it's frustrating, but we just have to be patient. I feel the writers have done a great job so far and we just have to trust them. :)

  10. Had some brilliant comedy moments - loved Arthur as a simpleton. Yay for the Arthur/Gwen reunion! Was a good set-up for the next episode.
