Dexter and Deb - just ewwww. Dexter's saves the day and escapes - as Deb would put it Fuck yeah! Doomsday Killer - booooring. Hacker dude sends package to Dex - finally a creepy possible killer worthy of Dexter.
A pity that it seems like they got rid of Matthews. Always enjoyed having Pierson on the show... LaGuerta has always been an annoying character, but now they made her incredibly one-dimensional. All we saw her do this season was caring about her carreer and showing that she doesn't care about anyone but herself.
And the whole Deb/Dex thing is just unnecessary. The season started off good, but became one of the weaker ones in the Dexter history. Hopefully the finale will be good, Dexter finales usually are.
Amazing episode except for the whole Dexter and Deb thing just EWWWWWWWW to that but overall this has been one of the best seasons much better then season 5 was for sure
I liked Pierson too. I've been hoping for so long that LaGuerta would cross a line and Dexter would have to step in to protect Deb by getting rid of her. I'm still holding out hope that will happen.
"And the whole Deb/Dex thing is just unnecessary."I'm torn on this issue, mainly because this episode clearly showed how well this storyline could be done AND how easily it could be eye-rollingly stupid. - The psychiatrist scene with Deb was very, very well done and expertly acted by Carpenter. The pacing, the visuals, and the acting was all there. It was top-notch. If this is how the show were to choose to deal with this topic I'd be on board. However... - The dream sequence was absolutely cheesy and downright terrible. The overly dramatic musical notes, the cringeworthy mouth close-ups, the weird editing, and that's all besides the awful, awful dialogue. Ugh.I'd be okay if I was sure the show would take the right path on this but I have serious doubts about it.
I'm of the opposite opinion. I'm very, very disappointed at how Dexter has handled this Doomsday Killer case from the very beginning. It's frustrating that he refuses to learn from past mistakes. I'm on the fence about the Deb / Dexter thing. It depends on how the show handles it and, after the substandard season this show is having, I'm not sure they can pull it off.
this was truly awesome! I am very much looking forward to see how they are going to handle all this. a lot of problems, twists and potential twists was created in this episode
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
awsome Dexter escapes another trap.

ReplyDeletebored with this, glad it's almost over
ReplyDeleteDexter has become dumber and dumber as this and last season has continued.
ReplyDeleteDeb and Dexter sexually grosser than any of his kills' they are not just jumping the shark, they are feeding the shark puppies first
ReplyDeleteNow, what is Dexter next plan.
