overall, a great episode! I'm glad that a door opened for Auggie - even if his eyesight can't be fixed now, it gives him (and us) hope that he can revisit it later.. I'm also happy that Danielle got a taste of what Annie does for a living - I think it'll bring them a lot closer now that Danielle realizes what her sister goes through on a regular basis, and maybe that'll finally bring their relationship back to what it was.
the only thing I didn't really appreciate was all the CIA bureaucracy stuff.. I understand the need for balance on the show, but I think the scenes with Jai, Arthur, and Joan were really boring this week
that last scene between Auggie and Annie killed me! I know he still needs closure with Parker, but that promo left me so hopeful.. at least Annie realizes that she feels something more than friendship for him now.. though it was incredibly sad when Auggie said he could hear her smiling, and you saw that she was more struggling not to break down instead
Great ep. I always wonder how this show pulls such a better production budget with all the foreign locations this season, but it definitely adds to the authenticity of the atmosphere. I like that they gave Danielle something to do for a change and pretty much makes her realize just what Annie's job entails and so she can't give here too much grief and they can move on. Not real sure how I felt about Jay's storyline, but I'm glad that he has a clear direction now as the new internal antagonist. Good, because I didn't feel that he added a whole lot this season. Bummer for Augie on the possibility of regaining some of his sight back and I know that they are trying to set up the Annie/Augie thing, but I guess I'm in the minority as I kinda hope they don't as I feel they work great as great friends/colleagues and never felt that other type of chemistry between them. But if they do, I'm sure the writers will do a good job with it.
I think I liked how her sister got a glimpse of what Annie's life is like especially when she was getting shot at by a bad guy! I love how Annie is finally being accepted by her sister on who she is and what she does!
What? I have always thought/known that something was bubbling underneath the surface for both of them, I love their chemistry together even it's just a phone call the banter is awesome.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
this is a really great show! sad that there won't be any new episodes till summer :(
