This was an amazing episode and now one of my favorites! I loved it. Molly was adorable, and I loved Chuck and Morgan with her. And finally, yes to Alex/Morgan getting back together! LOL at Ellie and Awesome.
Big Sister!Sarah was sweet. And Iwhoa at the fight with Ryker!
Loved it. Called it that the baby was the infant heir to something important that Sarah chose to protect, (ala Nikita) but liked their take on how she handled it. It definitely feels like the show is pushing to set up things to wrap up with a bow as the end looms closer. A couple of things that I'm a bit fuzzy on are that I thought they would have gotten the rest of their "volkov fortune" that Decker had funneled away from them since he's out of the picture and is known to be shady, but it seems like they're not acknowledging that, and the other thing is that even though it's been awhile since the pilot, events in this ep made it look like that Sarah was assigned to be Chuck's handler before she ever met him. I was under the impression that she was using Chuck as an asset in order to fulfill her mission to get Bryce who was supposed to be rogue at the time. In any event, enjoyed the ep a lot.
It was a fantastic episode--we got the background on Sarah plus some great action scenes and then a lovely scene with everyone towards the end of the episode.
I'm really glad they didn't drag out for the entire whether the baby was Sarah's or not because it was so obviously not ha. Really lovely episode though. Love the Ellie and Awesome scenes as well.
- Ellie and Awesome's "alone time" scene in Castle is an instant contender for my favorite Ellie and Awesome scene. - Tim DeKay playing a villain was a lot of fun to watch. - Chuck gave Sarah a well-deserved talking to after the mission was over and showed a great progression toward greater strength and equality in their relationship. - This episode could have used some Jeffster. - Killing machine Sarah at the beginning of the episode was surprising and entertaining. - The baby / mother plot was really sappy but forgivable because of the strength of the other aspects of the episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt was the best of the series! I loved how compartmentized Sarah once was. This episode really showed how much Sarah had changed.
ReplyDeleteAnswer is yes they will get it back eventually after all the trials for the drug lords it is evidence. These things take time.
ReplyDeleteI cannot remember that line at all (I really need the DVDs), but good catch! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteBut she got the Chuck assignment only after Bryce's "death", right?
