Lost Girl is going dark to wrap up season 2.
The Morrigan (Emmanuelle Vaugier) will be back as part of a dark fae arc during the last two episodes of the season (2.21 and 2.22), Vex will also be returning as previously reported.
The upcoming dark fae story-line will play a huge role in the season 2 finale.

Good to know!
ReplyDeleteLost Girl is far more interesting when Bo is being forced to chose sides between the Dark and Light Fae than when it's about her love life or Kenzi's!
The politics of Dark vs Light and where Bo and her mom's history fit into the Fae world is the backbone of the show for me.
i love the dark/light storyline and the love triangle (octagon now?) the show is very biased to the light tho with everyone close to Bo being light im confused why she doesnt just join the light.
ReplyDeletehaaaaaaaaaaate the Kenzi/Nate scenes though glad Aaron Ashmore only has like 3 more episodes to go.
hope we see Saskia/Aiofie soon need to know more about her!
I'm glad she's back, they really need to try to humanize the dark fae to make it interesting. Now it's only about the Light Fae and how gret they are. It's like Bo has already chose her side...
ReplyDeletedark fae episodes > normal episodes
ReplyDeleteThis! The light fae are boring and we have seen enough of them its about time Bo has more interaction with the dark.
ReplyDeleteI dont mind kenzi and Nate, but the last episode was a bit much, the show cant have a happy couple together with out making them obnoxious. They also cant seem to have a natural progression of a relationship, its one minute they meet then the next minute they are they are soul mates, destained to be together (Bo/Dyson, Dyson/caira, Kenzi/Nate) its gag worthy. I love Saskia too she absolutely has to come back and stir up some trouble.
ReplyDeleteawesome! I can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteThis is very good news, especially on top of the news of Vex's return.
ReplyDeleteThe show's balance between light and dark Fae is completely lopsided this season. In fact, I'd go as far to say that all of Lost Girl's storytelling has lost its balance this season.
The push and pull from both Fae communities is a lot of what I enjoyed about season one and the balancing act of navigating Fae politics and Fae society was the single most engrossing aspect of the show. In season two, Lost Girl has almost completely dropped it as a feature of the program.
We're only one and a half seasons into this series and, in my opinion, they should still be building and defining the world's of light and dark. They're the platforms on which Bo operates and are essential to the mythology of the show. Instead of doing this, Lost Girl has skipped this process and moved on to this "Garuda" storyline which, in my opinion, is too much too soon.
Season two has been nothing but personal drama and apocalyptic foreshadowing, with the occasional self-contained throw-away episode. Bringing back the dark Fae and their major players will hopefully bring balance back to the show and return it to what it did best - keeping the focus on local Fae politics and conflicts, and how Bo, Kenzi and friends navigate through it all.
Sorry about the long-windedness of it all. I've been wanting to get that off my chest for a while.
I know but they have to give the girls something to squeal, giggle and get into shipper wars over, duh, Darque, LOL!
ReplyDeleteHa! XD
