The secret is out: ABC Family has picked up Pretty Little Liars for a third season.

The renewal calls for a juicy helping of 24 episodes, slated to launch in summer of next year.
But you won’t have to wait that long for a fresh batch of Lies. Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna will be back for Season 2B on Jan. 2 at 8/7c.

    Yeah!  Not a perfect show but a lot of fun.  More than I expected.  I'm hoping the transition into the new batch of eps works.

    How could they not, it's their new "Secret Life". I love the books and I love the show. I love girls and even their tv parents.
