I loved it! My ABC currently has no volume, so I'm using Closed Captioning. (I have it on all the time, but still.) I'll have to rewatch tomorrow on Hulu.
Sam is a horrible person and a sucky character. Addison needs to end it with him now.
And poor Amelia and Charlotte.
And yay for Sheldon admitting he's in love with Amelia!
It was a pretty good episode but it would have been better without Addison. Which is a very sad thing to think about the show's lead. She's gotten to be such a moron it's actually painful. When your boyfriend is telling you your baby is going to be growing up without a father BREAK UP WITH HIM. I just don't understand. How the fuck can Sam think they "can make it work" if he is living with her while she's raising a child and is not willing to be a father? They need to end this storyline right now and just have Addison a) move back in to her own house, b) get pregnant on her own and c) pay attention to someone else's problems. The solution is clearly to move back to her own house with Amelia, help Amelia get back on track and have them support each other while Addison raises a child.
The Charlotte and Amelia storyline is particularly strong though, very powerful with great acting.
So glad she finally got her own big arc! For 4 seasons the best she got was something that the writers gave 2 bookend scenes every other episode or was used to shove the other characters on to us. Like the way they used Bizzy's funeral for a stupid pointless road trip of the parasite characters.
It's also 4 seasons of wasted promotion money. Were ABC promoted the hell out of every crap arc they gave to everyone else only to see ratings steadily go down after every promotional boost. Now that they finally give Addison her own arc and they don't even promote the show, ratings are going up. To bad it didn't really start in 5.01, where it was just 2 bookend scenes, and that was awful and scared away 25% of the shows potential viewers. If 5.01 weren't so awful, at this growth rate PP could have now been at low 3s.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
really awesome episode great character progression across the board.

so true.. Addison's the reason I followed this show from Grey's Anatomy in the first place, and she's taken a backseat for so long
