I really enjoyed the episode, mostly from a shipper and premiere high. I thought there was a decent amount of action although there could be more. The dialogue was snappy, I liked the guest stars, and the technology info was interesting. Wish Anson would bite it and it might have been a bit slow in places, but overall a decent episode.
Thought it was awesome, great start the (too) short back half of the season. I'm worried for Michael and the CIA, but out of that worry I am super excited to see where they take the story. Glad to have you back Burn Notice.
I was going to try and evaluate this last bunch of episodes without consideration to the main plot since it annoys the hell out of me but I quickly realized that wouldn't make much sense. So...
- The episode was way to schmaltzy for my taste. - There was no one being helped. - Maddie's undercover work wasn't as amusing as I'd hoped it would be. - Michael should be trying to find a way to work with Pearce instead of around her. - Surprisingly, Jesse, with his go with the flow attitude, was the most enjoyable character for me. - I Like Jere Burns and I don't mind his character here but this overused plot is sapping a lot of enjoyment out of this show for me.
I just have to hope the "client of the week" plots are good enough to get me though this.
I thought this was a really good episode. Only wish Fiona was in it more. Their scene in Puerto Rico was very touching. Michael is screwed six ways from sundown now that he's lying to Pearce. If the CIA gets wind of him hacking into their computers, he'll be going to prison. I hope Fiona can get inside his head and convince him that the right thing to do is talk to Pearce. If Michael keeps doing what Anson wants, he'll be just like the people that burned him. I'm afraid Fiona may turn herself in if Michael doesn't stop working for Anson.
The best one liner was from Sam, "It's official. That guy's a d-ck."
I wish Michael would have gotten out of the CIA. They use him for assignments that no other CIA agents want or would touch - in the same aspect the people that burned him have done the same thing and continue to do so.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
