New live action/ sci fi tv series. Coming 2012. 1rst Teaser of episode 1 & 2 directed by Guillaume Lubrano with Scott Adkins, Michael Jai white, Rutger Hauer, Darren Shahlavi, Matt Mullins. Fight choreography Larnell Stovall. Produced by Justine Veillot (WE PROD) in association with Fabrice Giger & Pierre Spengler (Humanoids). Production manager Daniel Cottin. DOP Matthieu Misiraca.

    i have to agree, and especially because this trailer was meant to bring in people by the fights scenes (that's what i'm guessing because that the only thing the trailer features) they aren't going to get anyone to watch this unless they improve on that. i hope i wasn't the only one who noticed the flexibility of those swords.

    Typos in the blurb are making me cringe. :-(

    This is a teaser trailer that's been out for a week or so, made with clips from the first two episodes. From what I could translate of the production company's site (thank you, high school French), and their YouTube channel, here's the details: "Each episode is 26 minutes long and is composed of one independant
    story, involving Action, Heroic Fantasy, Science Fiction and world
    renowned cast."

    In other words, it's an anthology, not an ongoing storyline, 24 episodes in all, to be shown in two seasons. So far, I've seen Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White, Rutger Hauer, Darren Shahlavi, Matt Mullins, James Marsters, and Joe Flanigan listed as being in an episode.

    No word yet on distribution in the US or elsewhere though. The link they give for the show (metalhurlantchronicles.com) doesn't work yet.

    I grew up in France with the Metal Hurlant magazine, so I'm afraid this is not for me. May be I'll check it once by curiosity though.

    That's indeed a sort of anthology, like was the first comics film, I think it was a canadian movie, and like was the french magazine long time ago.

    Well, at least it reminded me that somewhere in my attic there's a couple of boxes full of Metal Hurlant, A Suivre and several other bandes dessinées. I must check that out for good old times' sake.
